So what was I missing at Stowe?

I just came back from Stowe,vt and I have to say that I was disappointed. I have heard so much hype about how it is one of the best mountains in vt and in the east coast and has amazing tree skiing. Maybe I didn't find the good trees but I found the tree skiing wasn't that good(trees were to close together) and the mountain felt pretty small. Then we decided to check out the park since we weren't having much luck on the rest of the mountain and there parks suck( people had told me that on NS but I didn't think they would be that bad). So people that love stowe why is it and what was I missing??

the intense tree skiing is where its at man...i just got back from a trip to Jay with one day at Stowe and i loved it. i loved how i was able to make my own line through fresh snow in the trees...it also helped that i had perfect weather each day (which has resulted in major goggle tan).

maybe tree skiing isnt for you

it probably sucked cause its March 26th and there isnt gona be powder like before... what do ya think? I went for febuary vacation and the tree runs were so sick and I dont even like skiing trees normally. The park isnt that bad either you probably just arent good enough to hit the s rail and the flat down box and the other stuff

i went there in late december and the trees were sick, but their park really sucked, they only had a flat down rail, a straight rail, and tiny table

i went to stowe on mon and tues..and it wasn't the greatest it's ever been. the park isn't great either. this time of year you should of hit up jay. smuggs has been alright. i went to sugarbush a couple days ago and their park was better than stowe's. as for tree skiing, anywhere that doens't get any sun is pretty much hard as a rock.
