So, what has the Bush Regime done for you?

I know George Bush and the Bush regime have...

-Admittedly secretly ordered the NSA to eavesdrop on us Ameircans. By the way, where are those warrants? Oh wait, there never were any, and yes it is constitutionally required to have court approved warrants.

-Hurried the invasion of Iraq so UN weapon inspectors couldn't finish their work, which would later prove that no WMD's existed in Iraq.

-The Bush regime failed to listen to intelligence experts who did insist that no WMD's existed in Iraq.Refusal is a bitch, and goes to show it doesn't take much for the White House to create false and misleading information on Iraq.

-The Downing Street Memo proves that "the Bush Regime 'fixed' intelligence to sell the case for war with Iraq to the American public, and planned to invade Iraq, no matter what" f(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downing_street_memo0

-The U.S violated international law by launching a war of agression against Iraq, in direct defiance of the United Nations.

-The Bush regime falsesly claimed that Saddam and Iraq were involved in the attacks on 9/11. Making statements like "We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud", the Bush regime launched a campaign of terror (psychological) against the people of the United States, just to silence dissent and to coerce the public to support the Bush regime.

-Bush launched a war of wrong information and propaganda against the people of the United States by paying members of the mdeia with U.S tax dollars just to make sure the Bush regime policy was endorsed.

-Bush neglected domestic public welfare,as demonstrated in AVOIDABLE catastrophes such as the 9/11 attacks and the AFTERMATH of Katrina.

-War crimes are commited on a daily basis by our Army, including the use of Depleted Uranium which when used on the ends of bullets makes almost any armament vulnerable to anything tipped with it.

-In 2004, a total of 1 trillion U.S dollars was spent of weapons around the world.

So what has George Bush and his regime done for this country besides turned it into a modern day "1984".

the real question is: how did this rant help me? how did it help you? how did it help america? who the hell cares?

answer? jackshit no one.

that's the exact problem, no one fucking realizes what's going on , the corporate media has censored and shown false information misguiding everyone maybe you should start caring and start to take your country and this world back from those who are you using you for the benefit of corporatocracy.

meh, i don't really care about politics as much as i used to. i'm only looking out for number 1 here.

you fucking idiot. this rant should help EVERYONE by informing otherwise ignorant people, maybe like yourself, of the deceit to the American public, and the atrocities happening in this war. If this rant will make even half a dozen people more aware of the situation, it will be well worth the 5-10 minutes this kid spent creating it. I voted Kerry, not to get him in office but to get Bush out. The Bush administration is evil.

Actually wiki is a great source for internet arguments. It's concise, easy to read, and usually accurate.

How about the whole hurrican Katrina thing, though... where was that? Surely that has to come into it somewhere, even if it's not all his fault. I assume you copied and pasted this and that it was written sometime in 2004.

no i didn not copy and paste it i have many sources ( thanks to my new Anti-Flag album!), and what i was saying about Katrina is that if Bush hadn't been focusing on other things and neglecting what's happening locally as in OUR country, then the aftermath of hurricane Katrina could have very well been dealt with alot better. we could have been more prepared for it is what i'm basically saying, there is no way that it could have been avoidable, but the aftermath effort could have been very better and the horrible scenes you see now from New Orleans could have been avoided.

Right, okay, so it looks like Katrina is in there, I just missed it. Okay. Well, probably expand on that, there are like 10 points on Iraq there...

are you sick of spending your tax money on Iraq? i guess its better for a someone like yourself just to ignore and keep on gettin worked by the man obliviously.

How about getting Halaberton as the sole supplier of gear to our millitary. Halaberton does not do a good job and is making billions off of our soldiers and the war in Iraq

Halliburton*

I think people's opinions should be immediately discounted if they spell phonetically. Is that arbitrary enough for everyone? Cool.

i love how you know nothing about me, where i come from or what i do or do not believe, and yet suppose that because im sick and tired of mindless banter i must be a puppet of "the man".

im not pro bush. he is not the brightest president ever. he has done some messed up things. i don't think the iraq war was justified. i think the patriot act was a breach of liberties fundamental to this country.

im am however, sick of liberal (and conservative) conspiracy theories and endless bush bashing. is there nothing else you guys do? be paranoid about "the government" as a huge entity bent on destroying the world?

i live in sweden, and grew up in france. and from over here, all this liberal hyperbole is starting to look more and more forced...

How about a better question. How has my life changed at all from Bush or any presidents? There has been 4 presidents in my lifetime and so far none of them have made any noticeable changes to my way of life.

to the first part: you know NOTHING about me.

second part: America sucks that way. two horrible choices... one that has a plan but it's a bad one, the other had no plan and banked on people like you voting against Bush to get elected... great work!

Presidents dont become "Good Presidents" until after their term. It takes that long to see what they did.

And on my Opinion:

-Don't Blame Bush on "Bad" intellegence for causing the Iraw War. Multiple countries had the same intellegence in which we did as well. Please you know this dont be ignorant.

i'm sure a kid your age in Iraq or Sudan (which is a whole other issue), or in many other places in the world would not be able to say the same thing as you.

I'm not sure whether to hope they do (yay brain drain, more college educated people up here) or worry that they will (no more temperance on you right wing loonies).

wait wait, so liberal people are the only college educated people now? the only smart people those who see 1984 in everything?

If all the liberal people move to Canada do we have to take him?

PS Patty - Go to just about any university in the world and try to find conservative professors / students outside religious studies. I didn't say they were the ONLY college educated people... it's just a big chunk. And yeah... brain drain like whoa. Lot of hardcore right wing Nobel Prize winners out there, are there?

Oh I'm sure one or two, but we don't mind so much so long as they're smart, Canadians are notably off-beat anyway. Also, seriously, what genius scientist ISN'T a bit of a weird fucker?

how is using depleted uranium a war crime? Let me just say that I agree with everything you said except that. Depleted uranium is simply an ultra dense metal. There are only a hand full of machines that still use du shells. One of them being the a-10.

Did you know that if an A-10 fires its main gun for more than 2.5 seconds the plane will stall due to lack of air speed. I thought that was cool.

Oh we're waaaaaaay past 1984 now. Have you ever read 1984? Bush is waaaaaaaaay worse man. Bush is like... what would've happened in 2006 if things had started with 1984 and gotten progressively worse for 22 years.

(now I shall wait for people to take me seriously)

i'll tell you how , because when a weapon with a du tip strikes an object , say a tank, it goes straight through it, then erupting in a burning cloud of vapor. the vapor settles as dust, this dust is chemically poisonous and radioactive.

U.S Representative Jim McDermott said: "We went to a hospital in Southern Iraq, and a woman was there with a very deformed child and her husband had been in the Iraqi Army and had been in the battles in Southern Iraq and came home and they produced a baby with very severe malformations...Both Leukemia rates in children and malformations at birth had increased by 600% and it was clearly an epidemic where all this DU had been dumped...It becomes a dust that can be inhlaed and infect the blood stream and the rest of the body and it was the opinion of the doctors there that this was caused by depleted uranium...They simply saw this as being a direct result of the war by the United States."

Katrina was so horrible. I don't understand how the "greatest country on earth", or however Bush plays the US off latley, could let something like that happen. The administration is run by elite oil tycoons from Texas. (I have nothing against TX by the way) The administration is so classist and everyone who doesn't share the same fucked up views as our government has to suffer the consequence of global hatred. I mean, not every american is an oil sucking, war loving, ignoramus like our president.

perfectly said.

I could care less how much you like bush. Hes doing a fucking hell of alot better than any other person could who ran for president would have.

im not trying to be an ass, but your dad volunteered to be in the military, and hes getting paid for it, so dont bitch about it when he has to do his job

i'd really like to know which "liberal media" you are talking about? fox? cnn? who exactly again?

if you mean that every time a legit point is brought to your attention, it is labelled anti-american by conservatives? it seems like so much of your country sees through right wing goggles, which is necessarily supprising consider who owns the media outlets we watch.

bush is definatley not an academic, but his republican government, in particular, is very adept at filtering what you hear and how you hear it. they are responsible for basically sending afghanistan and iraq into another bout of serious civil war, yet back home it is somehow contrived into "liberation."

this war costs your country something like 200 million a day, and in total, somehwere between 1 and 2 trillion dollars. this is estimated to be enough to cut world hunger in half, purify the worlds water, and provide all of the aids medicine.

it would be great if all of this was some wide eyed liberal conspiracy theory, but it is so far from it, it is truly astounding. the people who back these assesments are well respected academics and government advisors.

to think that all of this doesnt and wont affect YOU directly is pure ignorance.

We as the public are blind to events that happen daily, yet in 20 years some students in history classrooms will know more about what happend in our day in age than we did.
