There website seems to be given zero new information about the 06 movie (Teddybear Crises? or something). Anyone have info?

msp had to be gay and convince HH not to sponser tbc so they could get a little more money. now tbc cant make movies all because msp had to be a bunch of no tallent allholes, so they could get a little more money to add on to their millions they waste trying to make a movie.

or atleast thats what i heard

that's funny, because you have it completely backwards. they couldn't get the same skiers because of sponsorship changes (that's straight from the man himself).

What a great opinion. Actually, pretty much everyone agrees that that was the one of, if not the best movie of last year. Guess what? your opinion doesn't matter!

And in response to the thread.... I don't know if anyone really knows what happened besides Ostness himself, but there are various threads about it all that you can read, search for them, some of them might be under "I Hate MSP" or "Why I hate Maststick productions" threads.

1.   TBC was awesome.

2.   That stuff about MSP and HH and all that is just not true. Its been gone over already, so let it go.

well TBC was in my and lots of other peoples mind the best movie of the year. Fuck even the trailer was the best trailer of the year. So obviously you have bad taste in ski movies

what was bad about the filming?

I thought the filming was really well done and the colours looked amazing. Not to mention the editing was solid as hell.

ill just chime in quickly here. First off i thought it was a wicked movie. Best released last season for sure. It was awesome to get to see some skiing from certian skiers we/i rarely hear about. it SEEMS that rails are the be-all-and-end-all of skiing right now (at least where i am) but to get to see the gap jumping and nutty airs from the europeans....it was pretty damn impressive! sure 100ft 900kink rails landing in slush are impressive and are no doubt a legit part of skiing, but id rather see more airs TBC style movies.

o yea and anyone who said it was poorly filmed...can i hear a few examples??

follow the paper trail. “One thing is true of all governments: their most reliable records are tax records.”

TBC was an excellent movie; my favorite from last year... it's really unfortunate they're not putting out another one this year.

They had financial difficulties with their main sponsors, Rostrup got his footy from the past 5 years stolen.

They wound up with no money to make the movie

The MSP deal is not true, i bought into it based on a miscromprehension. TBC died due to financing trouble for reasons that are not public info.

jepp, I hav e also heard that Rostrup had been robbed, and if he havent got any fotage. What is he supposed to make the film of then?

The filming was fucking fine. All 16mm, good angles, all on tripods, cable cam shots, what more could you want? It was an excellent vid.
