So what did you think of our Kirby Comp?

I think they need a new accouncer...the guy there was total junk...what a lame-o

You guys are way too concerned about nothing.....have some time on your hands HA.....as for garret....who cares if hes getting cocky....hes 9....you guys are worrying that a 9 year old is cocky....I was cocky at nine...and so were you...REMEMBER???? Sometimes I read these threads and laugh....and once again...the announce WAS NOT HOSS...the announcer was me MARK...and NO ONE ELSE WILL DO IT, because no one else knows what the tricks you guys are trying are called either.... You should be able to detect some sarcasism in my voice when I'm announcing....Garret going pro or to the hosiptal is NOT INTENDED TO BE AN ABSOLUTE FACT....

Jess is trying to scare you...I won't beat you up HA, shes a cop...she'll do it! LOL...

By the way, what does make you guys happy??? Complaining?
 
Actually I said ONCE...270 on.....720 off....which he tried and did it 270 on and 540 off...and the next time I said 270 on 1080 off....if you really thought he was going to do it....thats funny...I made it up...I was bored just watching.
 
LOL....when I said at the comp about everyone bashing the announcer...it was funny how many people knew what I was talking about! If I didn't say it before...you guys all killed at the comp...showed up the boarders for sure...Good show gents (and Kate and Nicole) hope you all had a good time there, that the main reason we do it anyway....the comps aren't set up to attract sponsers for anyone...We do them because you guys ask for them...It costs a alot of money in groomer and staff hours, but all the registration money goes back to prizing...

and stopping picking on Garrett....thats my job! ;p

i have no problem with your annoncing or garret being cocky but he doesn't like the big "Garret Eddie Mr. 1080" he hates it being played over and over again its fine if u say it once or twice but every time he goes and then when he gets of the box ooo i was dissapointed with that one just let the kid ride and have sum fun thats the only way hes gonna get better 720 at age 9 is nuts so if every one would just chill out i bet he could go pro
 
but stop hattin on Mark all the comps have to go threw him and yes his annoncing may not be the best but if everyone keeps hattin on him its goona make him stop wanting to organize another comp (what it sounds like everybody liked the comp) hes done a lot of work wit kirby and their park and next year with out jess hes gonna be the only persson who can keep the osc park progressing

Skiers definitely killed the boarders in both comps this year. Hopefully Mark will build some new and unique features for next year so we can keep pushing you guys....
 
i hope next year we get some new boxes at kirby we need like a 30ft box, or just some technical boxes like a whale box or an s box that would be sick
 
I wallride would be so sick, even though I suck at them, it would make for a cool ending to a rail comp
 
they are fun but i thing a wallride has more long term fun-ism-ocisty.

besides...i get pwned by wallrides so they provide entertianment as well
 
a tree ride would be deadly for me, I could just see myself riding up to the tree and then cracking me nuts off the trunk
 
we need some mad crazy intense shit. like super hige stuff, or flowy boxes or a sweet rail. i wish we could get money somehow them we could step it up and kill lake

Yes, the park was irrepairable after the rain we get friday, sorry guys....any way, what exactly is a snow box? send me a pic....markrutherford@bellnet.ca...

As for building stuff, I've requested a budget, it needs to get approved, things are going to be tight....it was a slow year for everyone in this business...never fear, I will come up with some stuff....I'll make it as interesting as possible, I've got a few unique ideas I want to try and swing...
 
hey mark when are those pictures going to be on the website? the puddle jump ones went up so fast and the rail jam ones are taking forever. and i swear there's a dozen in this forum you could have put up.
 
ya....they'll go up....the motherboard crapped out on my office computer...the one with all the pics....never fear they are there, I'm waiting to get my system back (wed. thurs) then I'll send off the pics to be posted as soon as I get a chance....
 
its jump but you land on a big square box of snow then at the end their is a little drop of for spin offs then a landing
 
exactly but the box is higher then the jump then u ride on the box of snow a few feet(the snow box is very wide and long) then u drop onto a landing
