Great display today guys, what did you all think....looked like everyone had a good time....I tried to stay away from calling the jumps this time....Its hard when you have to bluff the names....and I haven't a clue when it comes to the snowboarder terms....oh well, come on out tomorrow for the Puddle Jump...The one pieces will deffinitely fit in, I'm throwing on the Hawian Tee....
 
yeh def. i just got home from it and i thought it was bumping...with the exception of me bailing the whole day everyone threw it down, especially all the guys in the finals like ben, with his 450 on 1 foot slide 270 off...recognize...

but yeh i liked the way it was run and thought that the announcing was better...i especially liked the call out to newshoolers, advertising it, and giving a pitch to what we are all about...good job kirby
 
I'mma talk smack on NS allllll day about that shitty anoucing :P hahah i was loving the colour commentary, good job

Serious though, it was a good show today. The tunes were bumping and it was a good vibe all around

Only thing i would suggest for next time is less numbers for the jam format. It would let you try and thorw down more.

today was sick.

good stuff compared to your other comps. The jam format worked alot better because you can stick to a strict scedual. Also i like how you announced how everything was going to be judged (best run of 3) i remember at the comp last year, it was slopestyle i think 2 runs. after my first run i asked jess if it was combined score or best run. and i got a "i dunno we have to see how it goes". so huge props to getting it together. The vibe was good, i had a killer day. Awesome stuff guys keep up the good work p.s. announcing was good
 
ya great job today, the set up was fantastic (even though I wasnt in it) and the weather did hold off a bit for a while, great throwing down by the riders and congrats to wannamaker (sp?), steven and jake

i want to but i have so much homework. i love school. i love missing a day of ridding to do ISU projects.

lol oh well tommorow will def be as fun as today. sucks i cant go
 
Thanks Guys, Jess and Hoss did all the work for this comp...I just booked it and showed up to announce....I just finnished building the POND, its Maui style, palm trees and the works...should be sick, the waters going to be cold and deep, theres a small wedge style booter, and a "beach" for riding straight across, its all ages, waivers to be signed same old same old, I'm gonna ask everyone who plans on doing tricks off the booter to wear a helmet....register at 11, I'll be in front of the chalet somewhere....show starts at 12 noon, don't forget Guess Passes (lift tickets) are just 15bucks.....
 
that comp was sick. every time a comp comes around i try stuff that i would never think of doing, it was a fun day.

so for tommorow is it like aa table with a puddle in the middle? or is it a puddle that you skim across? i prolly wont be there sooo whoevers going out have a good time!

ahhhhh thanks so much for the props guys, the contest turned out ALOT better then i thought it was going to when i felt the conditions... the jam format was good, but maybe a seperate jam for skiers/boarders would have saved on clutter? snowmobiles would have been nice as well ;-) hahaha, ivan DEFINATLY should have made finals, but other then that i was stoked on everyone who made it out! i wish i could have had another shot at that 450 though, ahhhh, next time... congrats to everyone! see you all next season... if you want to shred kirby/dags/mslm/blue message me! im always down for abig sesh! congrats again boys! bigups to the girls as well! killin it

well i didnt ride ..but i sure did have a good time i was shooting off pics like crazy i think i took about 200pics yesterday but i dont have them up ill be able to put a couple pictures up later but ever body was killin it for sure

lol ya I think so, I got close to the end then I stopped and one of my bindings ejected me and I ate shit, I was the one that asked you if you were putting some of those pics online
 
that was wicked that even the announcer came up to try the puddle, I think it was hoss that attempted the switch crossing

ya I saw about 3 people who had some serious hardware camera wise so someone is bound to post up some decent pics, if any of you guys want any pics drop me a line, if you can i'd appreciate a couple bucks for any pictures you want just for my time and as a little incentive to do this at future events. I dont have anymore pictures of Daveinc1080 or Alex (sorry alex I guess you were camera shy this event)
 
Kirby Comp was sick. So much effot hiking up the hill haha, but i was a good day. Holla to my girl Kate and to Ben. Sweet job. If anyone has any pictures of me..maybe? Send them. K sweet.

almost forgot...

Great job to the park tech guys keeping the takeoffs and landings in shape...those were rough conditions with a lot of people and you guys kept it awsome right till the end.

stew had the white/brown siver jacket on. he wasnt competing. he was down around the judges for the most of the time
