So were all just ok that no footage of any rider greasing the full S rail at the Olympics happened?- Did we lose a war

Yeah i was saying from the first renders i wished they could just sesh it for a day or two.

Dope course but so much unridden.

Would be sick if they kept the course open to athletes for like a week after the comp so they could goof around and get creative without any pressure

The course was open after for two or so days towards the end of the week, not maintained or anything, just open.

Many of the athletes had other plans with teams and/or travel.

I was going to give it a go, but there was no way I was headed into that massive park without a helmet. Kinda just missed my chance after.

Those were my first thoughts when i saw the slope pics for the first time. “Someone has to get that entire rail!”

Also the rainbow to flat down that would’ve been dank. Idk if there’s a video of someone getting that whole thing but I didn’t see one

pretty sure there's a clip somewhere of wacko greasing it with a 2 out

For real though, we should start a petition to allow all athletes who made it into olympic slopestyle (skiers and boarders) to session the course for a week

maybe even give out medals

the ad revenue they would get from the edits would help pay for maintaining the course

Does anyone know where all the rails ended up after the olympics? Like if a resort is using them or just sitting around somewhere?

Not sure. Sometimes the mountains keep some of the stuff, sometimes they get dismantled and reused in other stuff. Considering how far away from Europe it was I'm guessing they were left in Korea though.

went up alone two days later and hiked it about 50 times. Almost felt impossible because the curve was too sharp for how long the flat was after it. The flat after the curve was also slightly uphill so you had to go really fast. Rail was also about 8 feet tall so falling off hurt every time

None of the homies were tryna battle it with you? Do you have any clips of attempts? Was it always 8 feet tall/uphill after the curve or had it melted away a bit
