This.

I'm a lifeguard at a waterpark and a 20 year old girl got a heatstroke in the middle of a line. She was unconscious for a couple seconds, then she couldn't see anything for a bit. It was way intense/stressful but after we put her on a stretcher and brought her inside she was fine after half an hour.

Drink your water and stay in the shade kids !

So yeah... Heat index is well over 100 today and I'm about to put on long sleeves, heavy gloves and a welding cap and helmet and sit a foot away from 3500 degree tanks for around ~30 mins at a time for 8 hours. Oh yeah, no fans allowed either because it blows away the shielding gas.

Sparknotes: Fuck my life today.

i hear you OP. I work out side all day and today the heat index is gunna be like 110 i hear. these hot days blow dick

SAME HERE!

but i dont give a fuck, i just barbequed some meat it wasnt that bad out.

its been above 33 here for like 2 weeks i hate it

good thing there is a high of 70 (fahrenheit...stupid rest of the world and their celsius) here in my house, colorado

Yesterday here in Iowa, we had heat indexes of 128 Fahrenheit. WTF, how is that even possible? Roads were literally exploding due to the heat. Thank God for cushy office jobs.

Southeast United states, specifically virginia, even more specifically loudoun county, even more specificallly middleburg, va, even more specifically in the middle of bum fuck no where.

thank god i get to be inside today

possibly swimming later tonight. i am working out though in the peak heat of the day however

VT - We're looking at mid-90s today. Heat index of low-100s. I'll sit in my a/c office all day and then drive home in my a/c car, and then sit on the couch downstairs at my house that is partially below-ground and the temperature will be in the upper 60s.

Considered going trailriding after work, but decided it wasn't in the best interest of my health.

Dont usually like these posts but i read this first thing this morning and liked it a lot.(from facebook)

I was going to complain about how hot it is... then I realized that at least: 1.) it isn't 115 degrees; 2.) I'm not 5,700 miles from home; 3.) I'm not dressed in a full BDU uniform and helmet and carrying 70+ lbs.; and 4.) there is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today! Thanks to all who serve in our military... God Bless You and your families

10/10 for this post and seconded!

It's a balmy 95 degrees here today. God only knows what the heat index is. My office is at a cool 70 degrees...and I'm going skiing as soon as I get off...too bad the water will feel like bath water. Barefoot runs until the sun goes down...hopefully the water is glass.
