hes not a retard i apologize i just thought it was wierd he didnt know what it was for. but that is an odd one the ones that come in my shorts are obviously tools but that looks kinda of like one of batmans weapons

no but i live in chicago so im never around a beach. especially surfing. I thought it had something to do w/ waxing a surfboard but i didnt know. BUT NOW I DO!

most boardshorts come with something like that... i got a pair that had one of those that doubled as a bottle opener... much like the snowboard tools that double as a peice

i love this thread, being a surfer i always knew what it was and i never realized there would be a question about it, but as they're becoming more popular (ie: they're on old navy bathing suits) everyone is getting them and is like wtf is this! I have a bag of em, I like quiksilver's the best, they're the sharpest and they really get the sand off of the wax if it's stuck on there.

mmmm most people dont use them to spread wax. i use it to scrape the extra wax off my board when theres too much old wax and my board gets too slippery...and to get sand and other crap that gets stuck on the wax from laying it on the beach.

i answered the question before i saw the thread. i'm awesome. lmao.

anyway...that thing sucks...i used one on my board and let's just say...spend the extra couple bucks from a surf shop.

Here's Oakley's New Batman Poster-

They recently signed him to Oakley's Proteam,

Look for his new signature lens known as the Dark Knights coming out Next Fall!

**Not to be confused with Osama Pro Models**

wtf is the point of a wax comb, i have never used one and i surf more than i ski, i kinda feel like a noob, but i just want to know,

i did, there is no purpose if u get sand in your wax, either, suck it up, or leave you boerd in the sun, throw sand on it, then take and old rag and wipe the sand right off

that's like saying, a hairdryer has no purpose, and perhaps someone should either go wet-headed, or stand by a busy freeway until the passing cars cause enough wind to dry their hair for them.

ok...well i thought it was pretty similar...

you either wait for the sun to melt the wax, or just use a handy little tool

its not really handy, do u surf, if u leave your board in the sun for 5 minute the wax will be melted to shit, i mean im sure some people find it useful, but the only benefit i have gotten from it is the bottle openers they are putting in them now

i see, gotcha. no i dont surf, my brother does a lot though, and he uses those. i dont know if theres much of a difference between wake surfing and real surfing when it comes to wax/tools/etc. though, around here he wake surfs
