Great, now foreign countries can rape our fresh water instead of our tar sands, whoooppppieeee!

It's a great invention but it's pretty much using up an essential resource for life that's already becoming squeezed in many places in the world.
 
We watched a movie in IED about this. The main engineer that invented this found out a way to convert H20 into H00 gas and made a welder that won't burn you, yet will effectivley cut through steel and other metals. He used the same gas and applied the same thing to his car. I'll try and find the video, its pretty amazing.

 
but there was a guy on the colbert report that invented a machine to purify water from toxic waste...
 
There have been cars running off of water since the 80's.

However, people who try to bring it into the public eye get killed. NO joke. The energy cartels in the world DO NOT want people using water instead of their oil, because then you wouldnt be their slaves anymore. I am privy to information on this issue, and trust me, this is old news. BUt now that everyone knows, they wont kill everyone.

One thing is you need electricity to convery the water into hydrogen. That energy has to come from somewhere too. But its hella cheaper off the grid than gas is.

so how would this work, would we not run out of water? and if i'm correct pulling water from the ocean even would be deadly because disrupting ocean water volume changes weather patterns etc, no? (not positive) can you elaborate on that stuff since you seem to know a good bit, i'm just curious.
 
umm you know you can get fresh water from sea water through distillation right? i wouldn't worry about disrupting the ocean.
 
i dont think we have enough people on the planet to dry up the oceans... like, compare the volume of all of the oil on the planet to all of the water in the oceans... really now... humans are good at fucking shit up but i dont think we could do it
 
the problem with it is that we still have to break the water molecules which requires energy, even if it is in the form of electricity, but electricity is still made through another form of energy whether it be nuclear or oil... so we will have an energy problem although it may be a different one
 
yes if demand is high. if its for yourself you can do it for under a 100 bucks providing you're in the right climate.
 
well they should stick some generators in the axles of cars to just plain make electricity and just have a battery in the car like we do now for start up and stuff.
 
theres no way it runs just from water. It says the welder uses electricity and water. The electricity must come from the wall, and in the case of the car from the gasoline engine.
 
OPEC will attempt to buy out this patent for hundreds of millions, they've done it before. It depends if he's in it for money or truly for the environment
 
cars generate electricity through their alternator. gasoline engines also require electricity to generate the spark that ignites the gasoline itself. the battery is only for starting purposes.
 
Well do you understand the hydrology cycle? water molecules arent destroyed, they just recycle. theres as much water now as there was 100 000 years ago, it just leaks into the earth and pops up underground etc... but when you run electricity through water, it creates Hydrogen and oxygeh, i think its H and OH actually... that does break the molecule, and does reduce the water on the planet. The water problem on the earth now is the salinity levels of global water resivors. slowly, the fresh water is turning to salt water. we only have 3% of water on the planet is fresh, with 10% frozen. Salinity machines should be more popular, its strange that they arent. maybe its to hold africa down. ..

 
All of you who say that water is running out are fucking idiots. Seriously? does anybody pay attention to whole fucking stories any more or do they just take snippets and pretend to know everything? there is a shortage of clean water. Third world countries have no way of filtering water. that's the issue. And I think skier man said it already, but hydrogen engines have been around for a while, but oil companies don't want the technology to exist, they buy it out. Just like even though the government now knows that ethanol is bad, they are still pushing for it because they can profit off of its production
 
so i really am no expert on this, and maybe im just pulling some things from other peoples posts in this thread but here is what i have put together...

yes, pulling water from the ocean would be deadly if we didn't replace it....in replacing it i mean, if we are burning HHO and using it as fuel, it turns right back into H2O (like he showed in the video when using his torch) so by this turning back into H2O it would thus evaporate into the air and come down as water, so i think you can look at it like a giant water cycle...plus in the video they stated that you can get 100 miles out of 4 oz. of water...i get like 22 miles/gallon of gas in my car, a 13 gallon tank ... thats about 286 miles total...if we used the water thats only 12 oz...now i don't want it get into major calculations, but i don't think 12 oz for every person is going to change the depth of the ocean to much, yes there may be some changes....but it cant be as much change as fumes from gasoline have put into our atmosphere.

hopefully something in there made sense.
 
Jesus christ, the point is MOOT. Did anyone actually look at the site? Heres a summary - straight up shit about "free energy". Even in the diagram, they never explain where the current to vibrate the bars comes from, and that power source would need to be huge.

There isnt a oil-company conspiracy to keep this technology from happening, its a stupid whacko dream that fools people into donating $10 for the DVD and conspiracy kit. STOP ARGUING ABOUT WATER.

I know the guy who was killed by exxon thugs, they came to his house weekly, warning him to stop driving the car, and to stop telling peple about it. He didn;t. He died. You obviously believe whatever you want to, so im pretty done talking with you.

oil companies want nothing more than to keep you as their economic slave. They essentially force you to buy from them because buying from them is the only option since they "kill" or destroy they're competition. Weening off of oil isn't just a environmentally conscious thing, it's a moral thing as well. The oil cartels control environmental (and other) political dealings and much more of the economy than you would think since our dollar is basically oil based right now.

On another more thread related note, how has nobody mentioned that water vapor is one of the biggest greenhouse gases?
 
Explain to me how H2O is changed into HHO without using more energy than you get out of the HHO. Because as far as I know, thats been eluding scientists forever.
 
It wont eat up our water. The water will either return to the atmosphere or run off into lakes and eventually make it to the ocean again...basic water cycle. Unless water is launched into space...then we won't run out.
 
its all just a big government conspiracy. if the cars run on water, there wont be enough for us to drink. so we'll have to drink beer. and the government doesn't want that, because in our sleepy lethargic sober states, they can control us. but with beer in our systems, it will lead to the eventual destruction of the government, and anarchy, by all of the freed souls.
 
if it emits the water back out then some of the water would return back to the earth, we wouldn't run out of water as fast as people think
 
i hope he's not a jackass and doesn't let an oil company buy his idea before the government does or he just keeps the rights himself. He's in a good posistion- both the government and oil companies want that idea and will pay that guy millions for it.
 
Right, so I'm actually going to address the technology, not the outlandish conspiracy theories about oil companies snuffing out competition.

To separate water into burnable hydrogen and oxygen, you need a shit load of energy. Any undergrad chemist can tell you this. In the diagram, nay, in ALL schematics, either the problem of this power is cleverly not addressed or its "secret technology". I understand that people may want to have patent rights, but come on. If people are bring murdered for keeping these trade secrets, why wouldnt you just put the instructions on the internet? Why dont we ever see a shred of proof that what they say actually works? Its all bullshit as far as I'm concerned, and until I see some good hard facts and solid scientifically examined and proven experiments, I'll remain in my tepid state of disbelief.
 
Its not tremendous amounts of electricity, its household current, passed through water, spereates hydrogen and oh, and you burn the hydrogen gas to fuel the car. It doens tproduce more energy, but when you can plug in your car, dump in a pail of water, and drive to work, knowing your drive cost you 30 cents of water and electricity.
