i would thik that this would be a heavely discussed topic, but i serachbard and found nothing. i was signing up my friend who is 12 years old, and i had to lie about his birthdate because apperently u have to be 13 to join ns. it seems like this is pretty stupid, because i am sure there r peole on here that abuse that rule. do u believe in this?should there b an age limit?

i guess this should be in sight discussion but its kinda dead right now.

well i think you have to be 13 to join most public forums. just so you know your basic internet safeties.

it's not specific to NS, it's a general liability thing. i make websites for a living, and anything where there's going to be information collected, used on the site, etc. we need to 'verify' that members are at least 13.
 
this thread is a perfect example of why there should be an age limit.

i dont mind younger kids, lets face NS isnt an intellectual think tank, but 80% of the hating and garbage that pollutes NSG and a little in the other forums comes from 15 year olds.
 
its also because apparently kids dont know how to fucking spell shit until they're legally able to buy cigs.

hate fest. 80% of the hate on ns is from 15 year olds? ok, maybe thats true. but the other 20% comes from the older kids who think they are cool because they think they have the athority to kick kids around in hate fests like this one. look, if u want this thread to go away, just tell a mod or something. i dont care. but it seems evryone else does.
 
im not quite sure what your saying there. i was 11 3 years ago, its just kids that are too lazy to actually think about spelling. dont take it out on everyone below 15
 
the other thing is, im sure that everyone who is hating on this thread right now probly joined when they were pretty young too.
