i saw that on the news, might have been fox and then they said that would hurt there chances of getting the games (there trying to get them) because its a nation of ignorant and insensitive racists.

Dude.. my news channel is PBS... which is funded by anonymous donations and has no bias towards anything really. The Newshour with Jim Leher or whatever his name is is by far the most unbiased news show i've seen, and the conservatives they typically have on there actually have something intellegent to say, rather than just bashing every stupid thing like Beck, Olberman, O'reilly, and Hannity, etc..

At least guys like colbert and stewart have their "news" shows on a comedy network... rather than trying to fake it off as actual news like those other jokers.

i can totally understand when these photos are taken seriously because there is a lot of racism apparent in spain.

In their la liga (pro soccer) league, racism is/was a pretty big problem. Fans taunt black players so much that they're on the verge of walking straight off the field. I don't know how it is now though

i hate fox news too. there's not really a reason why except i hate their set and their logo because they both look really old and i guess i like the people better on NBC, CBS, CW too.
 
true, racism is a big problem. spaniards are notoriously all white, and now that there is a huuuuge number of immigrants, racism and resentment is forming a bit. it's not all people though. but yea, same thing goes on in italy (making monkey noises whenever black player touched ball)
