I heard that he is not going to do anymore comps and he wasn't doing to many anyways but for real none? Not even the X-GAMES? If so i understand cuz his legs have to be fucked after chads gap and now this. Just wondering if anybody has any better info bout what he plans on doing in his future?

well, i haven't heard anything about that at all, so i'm sorry i can't help you out on that one.

i just wanted to say fuck the x-games, the only cool thing about them is their MEGA MO haha

ah well i aint got reliable sources so who knows? And as far as mega mo. i kno its FUCKIN SWEET! Right?

well he wont be competing this year for sure, hes trying to comeback for chile 2010 so he might compete at x and the dew tour in 2011 but who knows

its a miracle if he even skis again man. im sure he will be on skis but i am pretty positive he wont be able to put as much strain on his knees as before.
regardless +++ vibes for t.

i got the impression that he was relieved to be done competing. it must be stressful to have to maintain podium finishes at the x-games each year when you're reaching his age. each year there's gonna be another xavier bertoni added to the ranks, he was gonna have to make the call to transition his career at some point--from reading an interview with him from earlier this year (i think with symms), i got the feeling that he was relieved to have the decision made for him.

idk why, but i have a feeling this tanner hall shit is all bull, there were various posts over him and his retirement, but no one posted a fucking link

tanner will be skiing next summer, pow in chile, and possibly a lil park/pipe at nz at the end of the year. how ever he will not be competing, he will just be filming banger pow segments, and working with a catskiing opperation that he and another pro skier owns, (other skiers name slips my mind.)

No one is saying hes retiring, he had an interview earlier this year where he said he wouldn't be competing in xgames this year and by the sounds of it hes just leaving the competition scene in general. That doesn't mean he retiring, sorry i don't have a link.

If you think about it, he probably wont even be able to walk by the time hes 35 if he keeps messing up his legs. havent heard anything about him not wanting to compete at all when he gets back tho.....

Think about it, yout Tanner Hall you've won X games like 9 times and competed in about every other comp around in your career. You;ve taken some big falls and had a few decent injuries. Your a skiing icon. You can either ski deep pow everyday and take trips to Japan and Chile ect OR train pipe so you can compete. I know what i'd be doing in his situation. Competing gets old.

i agree with this but tanner is a very competitive athlete. Maybe some people like to compete more than ski fresh pow all the time (not saying that i do) but you im sure anyone would be lying if they said they didnt like competing anymore after doing it their whole life..just my two cents tho..

dude tanner just wants to ski fresh powder everyday and take it easy and perhaps light up some nice blunts to his face while hes shreddin some bc and just take it easy and have fun with it like everybody else should be doing lol

Thats i real great point. Just have been a huge fan of his sense his first x-games and Johney Mosley Mad Trix. He got me into freestyle skiing and is my idol. Just love watching him take out the young rippers at x and show that hes still the shit. Well whatever he does hes the man ad i hope he gets better.

last thing i heard he's moving to the east coast and skiing the park with 2bi4, making edits, wearing tall tees, but mostly drinking 40's and sparking up that beast coast tree we're well known for.

well if thats the case its really to bad. so far hes the best half pipe skier to ever live.

everyones gotta put it down someday though.

According to the news, Tanner is injured so he's not skiing X this year of course, but he is going to come back to win slope and pipe. He still skis slope better than most and he's only 24.
