Aight. It's 4.10am, I was up looking at the eclipse out of my window. For those of you who live in Vancouver, I live on Pacific street, right by english bay.

So, I see flashes... hmm... I see a few more, over a period of 1+ hours. So, its kinda dark, but you know the parking lot for English Bay, there's a silver car parked there (can't really tell, maybe Nissan 360?), and a guy keeps pointing a camera in my building's direction, and then you see the orange light you get before you take a photo, and then flashes. I know its coming in my direction because I see the flash on the ground in front of him, coming in my direction. Now this is weird... my blinds aren't down, I'm pointing the middle finger... he's taken a few photos and now he's stopped. What the fuck. I till see that orange light ocasionally though.

My camera's kinda shitty, it's broken, but here's a pic that gives you a general idea of where I live. You can just see the car... it's that silvery grey thing just across the grass. He's been parked there for a while. I think if you look closely you can see a figure standing by the driver's side. Creepy ass.

It's a huge ass picture...

Now while I'm at it, this may be related. A guy downstairs' apartment was broken into not long ago, by three people. His apartment only has a patio and windows in one direction, facing the road in the picture. It's gets hot, so he leaves the patio door semi-open. Now, I guess the thieves noticed it's always open at night, so one night they went in, started moving shit. When he woke up, he saw the fridge light coming from the kitchen (across from his room), apparently the thieves were drinking milk... He shouted some stuff, like "What the hell are you doing in my house!!?!?!?" and they bailed. So... maybe this is related?

I dunno, but I juts wasted ages posting this haha.

I'm dunno if I should hit the sack now, forget about it, or wait for it to drive away... and hope it comes by the street in front of me so I can get a better look at his car.

I don't know, maybe I'm just being a crazy dumbass, and he's just taking pics of the eclipse.

Okay, he's gone. I gues I was being kinda eccentric haha. I feel crazy now.

Shit, I'd be friggin' owned if it was some guy on NS lookin' at the eclipse. And taking photos of my building (you see a bit of it in Believe, where they just "pulled the plug" on Vancouver).

Maybe I just stayed up too late, and I'm just being an eccentric fucktard. IDk, but when some guys taking multiple pics in my direction at 4am, i'm kinda like what the fuck dude.

Why would someone use a flash to take photos of an eclipse? Then again, why would someone staking a place out use a flash and make it so blatantly obvious? Either way, he's an idiot.

That's what I was thinking, and the flahs was coming in my directin after all.

i dunno, maybe he couldnt see the buildings details very well in the dark (if he was intending to plan it out) and thought flash might work.

im still wondering what the fuck he was doing.

Well, he could have been taking photo's of your building for certain purposes. I know a guy was trying to get people here on newschoolers to take photos of buildings for his company because they were building 3D models. Now, why he was taking photos at 4 am is beyond me. And does your building have any significance? There could be a very logical explanation behind this.

yeah my step brother does that. He goes around and takes pictures of buildings so they can be modeled and put of google earth.

Oh its totally a private investigator. See, someones wife is cheating on him with a man who lives in your building. Said PI was waiting for her to leave so he could snap pictures to give to the husband as proof. When she left at 4am, he was ready, aim, shoot.

I was in a hotel in grand rapids and at like midnight these guys came up in black hoodies (not trying to prove anything by that except that they proly weren't tourists) and started taking pictures through a darkened first story window, with a flash. Suspicious and bet the whole flash thing worked out great for em.
