i was washing my car, and noticed some fuckers keyed the hood on my brand new civic. i dont know if it was at school or work or skiing. They keyed "G uni" the letters are like 3 inches tall, and each letter is swiped like 4 times. its pretty bad. and im fucking chapped.

i will post pics up soon, its too sunny and you cant really see it with the glare.

does anyone know how much or the best way to fix it is? do i have to get the whole hood painted? or can it be buffed out?

 
the car is like 3 months old. it was my first brand new car that i had to work my ass off to buy. someone is going to get wrecked when i find out who did it.
 
My friend tried to slide across the hood of my car with a studded belt on. Yea.............. I don't suggest doing that.

and check out wall mart in the auto section for touch up paint they make it specific for each car brand, and usually new cars come with a small bottle , i know my dads trailblazer did.
 
i dont really trust touch up paint. i dunno. ill take it into the dealership or something and get a price. hopefully its not fucking expensive, cause i need to pay for whistler. but knowing cars, its going to be expensive. the worst.
 
i just saw a commercial for something that fixed car scratches, i don't know what its called but it had the guy from the oxy clean commercials in it if that helps
 
wow im sorry man.

that sucks on a brand new car. last year when i was up at sunapee i came back to put my skis on the car and get some different sticks and looked down at my rear side panel and there was a nice new like 10 inch scratch from some dipshit that dragged his skis or board right up against the side. it sucks too because its not like a straight line scratch its all wavy so its really noticable.

let me know how it works, my car got keyed or "snowboarded" while i was on the hill. it is a nice door to door (i have an srt-4, which is a 4-door) scratch that goes up and down like a wave, could be someone just walking by with a snowboard and dug it in. either way, i share your pain in wanting to beat the FUCK out of them. in fact, if i ever see any of my friends key a car i will personally beat the shit out of them. and then make them make one of my car payments. fucking douchebags.
 
lame as fuck. someone keyed my car last year and i was fucking PISSED.

i got touch up "paint pens" with the correct paint code for my car, and i spent 3-4 hours trying to fix the scratches and the paint came out looking like shit. it's very noticeable.

i should have just used a spray touch up paint like in that video.
 
touch up paint, the color of you're call do it yourself, it might cost alot if you take it to a shop ;[
