apparently i didn't screw the top of my water bottle on tight enough [dumbass move, i know] and it flooded
my backpack. Get home from school and put my computer n rice and a warm room. it's been a week and
the thing will make the starting sound before the screen goes black and all is lost. Any help would be

I just did this on Saturday with my blackberry and put it on top of my digital cable box to get some heat activation for the rice. Took my phone out today and it's working again after taking a quick swim.

So pumped. Rice works miracles.

If you have already turned the computer on after the water damage it wont matter if you rice it as you have already damaged the system. If you suspect water damage do not turn the device on, instead put it in rice allow it to be dried out and then turn it on a few days later.
