sup kids.first season park skiing. getting pumped.but it helps to have skisyou know?
5'11 150 pounds, i'm hitting small- medium features. nothin' crazy yet. but soon.something i could take in the park, but could handle on the rest of the mountain. but park over all else.whatcha got for me?thanks kids!!

i would grab some Line masterminds. light weight, can handle the groomers, softer flex so it handles a great learning curve and relativel cheap.

definitely check out the line chronics. I'm exactly how you are and I have loved and ridden mine 3 years.

Boom. I agree. If you want a stiffer ski that can handle jumps the chronic cryptonites are perfect. 92 waist gives you just enough width to tackle slush, a little powder, groomers, and it rips in the park. I love mine and they're holding up great.

next year, they also have the regular chronic(I'm pretty sure), so you also have a little bit of choice. Is this your first park ski?

they'll be way to small for him and if he's new to park/skiing in general he might not like the rocker..

Or you can borrow my silencers, but just take them home this time. lol

btw guys we saw a kid do a 360 out of the pond skim in a taco suit yesterday. what a champ

Rossignol S3's. my first year skiing park, but also love big mountain. Fatter than most park skis, but you'll be fine.

probably not, it doesnt sound like this kid does a lot of big moutain skiing. sick skis though

yeah he skis with me in NC. we get the occasional powder day, but nothing that a park ski can't handle if you know what you're doing.

What do you guys think about the afterbangs? Idk if he has his weight in the thread but he probably won't need a very stiff ski and our shop had them for $215 when we went in the other day.
