and seeing as i just finished off a 20 mile bike ride and a turkey sandwich, i think im going to take a nap. i highly recommend for those of you that don't normally nap to take one.it makes everything better.
I got my wisdom teeth out this morning, took a couple vicadin and took a nap, but I'm kinda concerned because 2 of my stitches pulled out and I haven't stopped bleeding for 10 and a half hours
Naps are awesome. The only bad part is whenever I take a nap I always wake up with a sick feeling in my stomach and it feels like theres something in my throat but after that goes away greatest feeling ever.
I have class form like 9-12 or 9-1, so after only getting 4-6 hours of sleep every night, i come back from class and sleep a couple hours. the only problem is that i just want to stay in my bed and it takes me forever to leave.
I love naps, the problem is when you get woken up you feel sooo drowsy and whenever I wake up I cant tell if I slept for 1 hour or like 25 hours its so weird
the best nap of the year is always after the first day of skiing, this year for me it was thanksgiving day. i came home and passed out on the couch under a huge blanket and awoke to the smells of thanksgiving dinner.
Naps are amazing. But you can't over do it. No longer than 2 hours. You'll wake up and feel more groggy than when you went to bed. Set an alarm if you need it. If there is one thing I learned in college it was how to nap. 1.5 hours is pretty much the perfect nap.
Ya the downside to naps is that they can be bad for your sleep patterns. Like after an hour of sleep you go into a "deep" sleep and it messes with your normal sleep patterns. So it's good just to take like 45 minute naps.
in math class I will just lie down in the middle of the floor, and use my hoodie as a pillow....the teacher doesnt even notice, and I learn the math still! Its like that same effect when people go to sleep listening to those cheesy confidence-boosting tapes...its kind of like that.
I fell asleep in math this morning, right when i got there. the teacher let the class out after only 15min of class and i woke up during the class after mine. it was rather embarrassing, but totally worth it cause i feel great now.
^^yeah never gonna do that mistake again, I watched the end of the game of the Canucks, then i watched Apollo 13 movie in french. I was just tired of rolling in my bed...
that's just crazy. A girl in my psyc class last year worked at a bar, so she was up till like 3 or 4, and then she had school in the morning apparently. That would screw me up so much but I guess you get used to it.
whenever i take a nap at a certain time the next day i feel tired and sleepy at the exact some time and im forced to take another one. so then i get stuck into this addiction.
