So my computer killed itself

ok. so I am not a very technologically iclined person, but I know this is a problem. ok so yesterday someone sent me a file that said hey look I found you picture. I can normally spot that but this time I was a bit slow. so I open it, right away my computer crashes. it started back up right away and I began trying to find it to delete it. well now its the next day and no luck. its gotten worse. now I turn on the computer, sign on. it loads my desktop and then right away goes to the blue screen that says it hates you. so now any ideas on how to fix it? or am I screwed and need a new computer.

ps. I'm posting this from my phone. I hope it works
 
First: dont piss it off

second: run windows in safe mode and run a full system scan with your anti-virus program.

Third: kill the person that send that picture

 
you can either

A: Format your computer (not recomended itll delete everything you have including the virus and it takes a long time

B: Download A Virus Protector and do a virus scan

C: if all else fails take ur keyboard smash it against the wall many times and then so computer out of window
 
get AVG virus, its free and it is god, also get the free Windows Defender for spyware, all free, both the best, seriously
 
it's done for. if you can get in with safe mode, back up your important stuff, then reformat. Plus then it's like getting a fresh new computer..., with none of your stuff on it.
 
AIM FIX and Miscrosofts Defender Beta. The AIM fix will stop sypware from intsalling and the Defender will get rid of anything on your comp. I'm a nerd, I know my stuff.
 
..uhh I hope it wasn't the picture I sent you. I'm pretty sure it wasn't though cause it was your picture to begin with. But whatever.. don't kill me.
 
uhhh yeah so my computer basically wont turn on anymore. so safe mode is a no go. we can get into the safe mode screen but then it freezes and wont work anymore. we are bringing it into a store today. and i will defenetly get norton on my next computer if this one is dead.

anyone know of a good cheap computer?
 
oh and ps, its hard for me to check this thread since i dont have a computer anymore, and my dad doesnt trust me with his anymore.
 
Noton is horrible and costs money.

AVG is fantastic and is free.

even if AVG cost the same rediculous price as Norton I would still go with AVG.

AVG + windows firewall + spybot search and destroy = computeter bliss
 
FCUK MAN ME TO. Itw as the whole "lol heres the picture of you." i can usually spot it becasue most of the times its people who either dont say LOL or havent taken pictures of me. But in this case it was my cousin who had taken a picure of me earlier. so I accepted. Bam, dead computer. I can get on and everything, but I have a bunch of unknown icons, which i delete, but withing seconds they pop back up. my computer crashes like *that* and I cant get on the internet. This is from my downstairs one. fucckkkk, any help? dowloads are a no go seeing as how i cannot get on to the interent.
 
shit man i had something similar to that happen to me, actually i was on some girls computer. i kind of fucked her over but whatever. anyways, someone popped up on aim, kid i knew, friends with, and it says "haha check out this pic" or something like that with a link. i clicked the link and it sent itself to everyone on my buddylist automatically and i couldnt stop it. the girls comp pretty much died and they fixed it. i never got in trouble cause she just told her parents she didnt know what happedned.
 
so the computer store said mine was the most infected computer they had ever seen. hahaha. ah well gave them something to do with their meaningless life. it took them pretty much a week of straight work to fix it, and then they realized the couldnt and had to reset my whole computer.

so uhh, do i get a prize for the most fucked up computer?

ps. i have it back now, with nothing on it and i am pissed.
 
uhh all you have to do is a system recovery. you can even do it without getting rid of your files and that usually works, but if not a full one would definately do it. it shouldn't have taken more than a few hours of actual work tops. It was probably spyware there's pretty much no way to delete it or anything becuase it fucks your comp up to much to operate the antivirus and antispyware shit anyway. system recoveries are the bomb though it's really simple to do and all you lose is whatever software you've added, but you dont have to lose your documents.
 
that happened to me today it was lke this pop-up thing and randomly while im talking to some on AIM its like "hello and good evening! we are excited to give you this off for a free laptop" and im like HOLY SHIT WHO THE HELL WAS THAT?!
 
on my old computer the "you are a idiot hahaha" cept on reapeting even ehrn i turned the volume off so my old comp was screwed 2
