I just got a reply from alpine because they were slacking...this is what they wrote...

Thank you for your interest in skiing and/or riding with us at Alpine.

The November 19th opening date is just a projected date. We could open

as early as this weekend. Please stay tuned to our website for all the

latest information. Think snow!
