So much for early snow at pc...

Was up there today picking up my pass and all the jibs are set up in the the gulley so wind shouldn't be too bad, didn't spot any 25 footers though... interested to see where they hid that. It's looking sick though!

imo pc blew today. snowy, crowded as fuck, and the park was fucking shitty. worst opening day park i've seen them have. i really wish they could go classic and have some flat boxes and just fun easy shit for the first few weeks instead of doing "creative" setups and having them just be stupid and displeasing to many. i took 2 runs today in total and one of them was on homerun because the park was so disappointing. maybe it will get better, maybe it was just the weather, i'm not sure. i'm just not too happy about it.

well last year's was just AMAZING. I never made it up to the top, as i won't get my pass until tomorrow, but everything from the second propane tank down I thought was sick.

It was fun till I blew out a binding coming off the elbow rail. Really though, I wish we just had like a standard flat rail, and maybe some skinnier flat boxes. Those propane tank things are way fun though.

weather aside. the set up was dissapointing.far to creative and wayyyy to like canyons. im sorry, but we dont need 13 bonks in front of rails or set up with tiny ass lips. the longest propane tank was fucking sick but that was the only stand out feature to me. the jump was nice but the snow conditions ruinded it. we had mad fun lapping today especially when the weather cleared out the lift lines super stoke to be back on lifts haha. so dont bitch at me, im just being honest. but the one thing i would really like to see is that fat down tube to be set up WITHOUT a bonk. its probably one of my favorite rails and that bonk in front ruined it. plus that set up classicly would make a nice line sarting with the jump running out through the bottom. but its lookin like powder for the next few days so hopefully they will make some changes by the next solid park day.

i thought the creative tech shit was pretty ill. why would you want a bunch of flat boxes? so you can have a billion kids ski over them and have a bomb hole the size of a meteor? in all honesty more than 3/4 those features were "easy" if you cant clear a c box, two down rails, two propane tanks set up flat, a flat box, and a flat rail/box combo then i dont know what you think "easy" is....thought it was pretty fun and stoked to see what they had up, especially considering the amounts of snow they have had. you want easy features go to brighton homeboy.

I guess it was pretty "creative" rather than simple and practical. But it is early season so I am thinking/hoping once things get rolling it will develop into a more normal and useful park.

You kids should stop bitching, you can't just how fun a park is when the snow was sooo bad like today, i thought the setup was sick and im stoked to ski it when the snow is good and i actually have speed to hit everything.

this is beginning to sound just like the thread last year...

All of us got to shred a nice park on opening day in november. everything I hit I thought was sick. If you don't like it, lucky for you it will probably be gone (or at least re-done) within the next couple of weeks. I was too consumed by the fact that this was the first time i had been skiing in 7 months to notice anything not to like. THE only thing I saw was that a few of the rails were super loose in the ground, and would tip when you hit them.

That is all. WE WENT SKIING TODAY :D

what are you kids, fucking handicapped? that shit was legit. Fun innovative features, fuckin jumps. Besides the fact that the snow was ridiculous it was dope. But its dumping so its fine. im stoked for the pow but also to see what other ill stuff pc has in store for us.

move to breck if your gonna bitch.

Haha alright everybody calm down. If you scroll up and read, there are only 2 people who said bad things about the park, thee 50 who swoop in to call them 'tards. Just ignore it. I had a smile on my face all day. Got some tricks that I am happy about, and am still stoked! This thread it bringing down my stoke!

ya it was mostly the snow that made me sort of angry. but i just liked having some flat boxes and shit around to get back into the swing of things and try some new tricks is all. i really just didn't think that that park was worth the wait at 3 kings. also i didn't realize how little of edge i have from last year, i was having troubles getting down the top part of the park on my first run. all around I[/u] didn't have a hot time

holy shit you fuckers are spoiled...most kids back in the midwest won't hope to be riding lifts for a nother month..so please...shut the fuck up : )

i am happy im skiing. i had a fuckin great time today. i shoulda been clear i was simply talking about rail set up from this year to last IMO. nothing more. park crew was out alot wich was dope so they know what people have and have not been hitting and im sure they will go with what they see.

The snow was definitely some of the worst/weirdest snow I've ever skied, but the set ups were pretty sweet otherwise. That elbow rail is sweet. Should be awesome when the snow is normal and everything is more hittable.

Hahaha
Last year: What is with all these down rails! Don't they know how to do anything else!
This year: What is with all this creative stuff! Can't they just setup some simple things!

Its true. On a side note, Where the fuck were the parents of all those little kids in the park today? I got snaked by at least 10 of them.

this is true. It was still coming down a lot all day. I'm gonna be hitting brighton up wednesday. Its going to be amazing.

this looks like the sickest thing pc's ever set up

But that jib has everything. Who wouldn't want to launch off a steep pole jam, then huck their body almost straight on at a corrugated wallride? I was tempted to hike it all day.

Once this monster of an epic storm moves out and all the new snow is groomed in, the park is going to be nothing short of amazing. 2 to 4 feet expected by tuesday. Brighton shred wednesday is on.

or need to do some more blowing, if you know what i mean.

And how are some of the new setups everyone i want to get up there but dont want to pay if theres not much set up.

ha you went to pc over btown? better than half the pow days I had last year mid winter...shit was deep
