yeah she is now out of prison. and after all that shit with her wanting the media ban, she went on CBC as soon as she got out for an interview.

 
shes soo full of shit its unbelieveable and it really bothers me that she got a deal because in the end shes just as guilty as her husband but hes in for life and shes out unconditionally and i guess if you really wanted to you could vouch for the you do the crime you do the time rule and she did her time without asking for an appeal or parole or something but still when it comes down to it shes a murderer and a rapist and she shouldnt be back in the streets. i heard though that there were a few other missing girls and theyre hoping to pin these on her so that they can reconvict her and put her back in for life. im hoping that will happen. one less creepy person on canada's streets

I can't believe that they're making a movie about her and Bernardo. First off, it is incredibly disrespectful to the French and Mahaffy families. Secondly, it's turning Homolka into a legend. Maybe if I can commit a crime as horrific and disgusting as that then they'll make a movie about me too. It's only encouraging the kinds of psychopaths that commit crimes to become famous.

Theres hundreds of people who commit the same crime as her - or much worse - in Canada alone every year. The only reason you or I even know her name is because someone decided to turn it into a big media farce some years ago.

Don't misunderstand me. What she did is terribly wrong, but why is there so little concern among people about the people who live in the country who have do the same and far, far worse? Its like she's a movie star, not a criminal.

So here is the funny thing about her going on the CBC.... I report on CBC Ottawa said that just about everyone in every province hates her right now, except in Quebec because she did the interview for a quebec branch of the CBC and did it in french. The CBC Ottawa went so far as to say her interview created some sympathy and support among french canadians.

That is totaly fucked up.

I wonder if they paid her for the interview.

She seems to be pulling an Eric Cartmen... "this is the best themepark ever and YOU cant come!!" only its more like she is saying "this is the biggest story right now... and YOU cant have it!"
