a lot of edits seem to using instrumental music, rather then rap or music with lyrics. are you guys feeling it? for some edits it works like enjoy's trailer, with sontata rabidus by modus operandi. but other edits not so much

umm yeap using something different from what's always been used is definitely NOT creative. good call.

I dont mind it, cuz then I can sing along and I never miss any of the words!

yea half the time theyre good and half the time they suck. i like the one in lss and i like the second song leigh powis used in his promo

instrumentals = way better than rap 99% of the time. even traditional classical music. not like epic "requiem for a dream" shit but just normal stuff. cool change of pace

Companies are going with that music because it is cheaper. Putting popular songs on movies is big money...Find some dJ who will bust out a few songs cheap for you and you have a soundtrack...

They should all be Guitar Hero songs, and when the edit is over, the last section should be the person finishing the song

It all depends on what it is. Some instrumentals are dope as all hell, others are just plain wack and boring to listen to an edit of.

i like instrumental music, gives more of a creative thing, music w/ lyrics usualy makes it look like someone's image.. for instance pete olenick had a gangster song in yeah dude, and it gave him the gangster image, but if you read his profile in freeskier you will see that he was nothing but a nerd up until he drank, (when he was like 21ish or so?)..

so its a give and take thing
