And most of the bands there I havent heard of besides Killswitch and MC Chris because im more of a Death Metal, Metal guy. So wanna tell me who is good in this list?

it wasn't that good in vancouver, nothing to hold it all together. Killswitch, NFG, Family Force 5, pennywise, and bad religion where good....othrwsie my memory has fadded and i can't rmemebr anythign else, ohh paramore too. 
 
COHEED AND CAMBRIA

i was going to go on the 3rd to see them in camden but i was too lazy to buy tickets. but yeah they are fucking amazing and if you dont like them then you are just not looking into the music. you cant just listen and think wow how is that big dude signing that high pitched? which is what most haters do, the story in the music, which is 4 albums long, is amazingly creative. and if you listen to thier music you cant even tell there is a story. which makes it even more interesting to decipher it all. either way, double neck guitar solo's kick ass. nuff said.
 
Ok I've seen all but maybe 10 of these bands and if you are into metal and heavy faster stuff then you will like the following. BTW MC Chris is ill

N1NTHW9RD is completely right, CHIODOS needs to be seen to really appreciate. Everything about this band is unbelieavble. Also check out these

IT DIES TODAY- i took a trash barrell off the face at a show of their's, busted nose.

If you want to hear a little bit softer(not emo, but indie-ish experimental stuff), CIRCA SURVIVE. Anthony Green is unreal live and here's a pic of him last year at Bamboozle when I met him. Go to their website check em out.

coheed is pretty good in moderate doses. They aren't bad live and do have some pretty sweet songs.

Emotionally charged lyrics-check out Alkaline Trio, not as good as they once were but still put on a good show. Very dark now to. kinda weird but hey.

If you wanna check out a lil ska or punkish action check out Big D and the Kids Table, always a great show. Seen em prolly twenty five times and still dont really ever dissapoint.

these are quite possible the most annoying bands to watch for a couple reasons, they aren't good live, their fans blow, and every little girl will end up buying their shirt, coincidently so will you if you get sucked in.

ALSO AVOID THROWDOWN, THIS BAND IS TERRIBLE. listen to their song overcome and you will understand why you shouldn't go see them.

So that is a review of all those bands and who you should see. I know your probably already went to warped and this was completely idiotic of me, but here's the list of bands that you should check out.

i'll never forget how lax the warped tour was when i was 15. a couple of my friends scanned a ton of tickets (this was before they used scanners, 2001) and made them identicle to a real ticket with razor blades for the tearing part. it was fucking amazing. anyway, so they made something like 100 tickets and all of our friends went (30 or so). they scalped all the rest of the tickets off and made a shitload of cash. it was fucking awesome man. oh yeah and kool keith asked me a couple buddies for some weed. we told him we had some at the car, but he wanted pounds and we were 15 and laughed at him. he was also boo'd his entire show because it wasn't a rap concert. god that was an awesome show. pennywise rocked. and rancid
 
yes those are some bands you should check out and they are all pretty good live.

But how can you talk so much shit about emo and then say alkaline trio? they are on the number one indie/emo label out there.

I've seen al the bands you mentioned but that doesn't make emo bad. Some of the bands he listed are ridic live. Better at instruments AND an unbelievable stage presence.

I use to be like you and listen to JUST punk and ska, that's not the way to look at it. Plus the kid listed Chiodos and Underoath, those bands are unreal. Yeah he listed some gay shit like rocket summer and stuff but he does enjoy some good stuff.

I hate hawthone but that didnt stop me from starting a mosh with some guys. Got fucking crazy in there. I was crowd surfing and they threw me right into security and we both hit the front of the stage hard, got a golf ball on the side of my head from that. went right back in to mosh it up

Like I said this is only like out of 130 pictures we took so ill put more up when i get them seeing as it takes forever for my girlfriend to stick them on photobucket.

And I scored a shit load of skullcandy stickers and a bandana, a shit load of small electric stickers and a beach ball and a free shirt and bandana from Fuse. Along with a shit load of band stickers. stoked about the SC bandana though, was like a buck
 
im going to the portland OR stop on the 19th. then the next day, killswitch is playing in my home town in Medford OR
 
listen to analog4andy and i think youll have a real good time. all time low is from my area, although i think they might be too poppy/emo for your taste. its cool to see them going from playing locally to touring the country though
 
go see pos he is fuckin awesome. ive been following him for the past 4 to 5 years. he got a real good punk feel with a hip hop beat real dope shit. CHECK IT!!

Killswitch. My girlfriend took these thus why they are so crappy cause shes all the way in the back cause she was scared. Im all the way in the front, doing more moshing. There was a fucking wall of death and me and this other guy were like GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY! We were the first two running into it. Got flipped over like three times while doing some crowd surfing. Was intense.

as i lay dying slays, so does chiodos. so does killswitch. drop dead gorgeous is a band i grew up with and have played with, there sweet. reggie and the full effect, the bled. thats what i would go for. warped is kinda weak now though.
