So I'll be using poles this year...

Youre the problem with the discrepancy between poles and no poles. What kind of statement would riding without poles at midwest massacre make? Would it show kids that riding without poles is cooler? Let me make a comparison that I know people will take the wrong way. Before I start, I am not calling no poles gay in any way shape or form, rather grouping the two together in order to help simple folk such as yourself understand a bit better: I don't mind gay people in the least, they don't bother me at all. When they try to prove and force upon people the notion that being homosexual is the ONLY way to go, then I start to get annoyed. The same holds true for skiing without poles. I don't have enough spare time in my life to care about who rides with or without poles. When kids like you do your best to make it my problem though, then I just feel bad for you, because you are that flambouyant, irrational weirdo that just can't see things in anything other than a dichotymy.

ha ha pole club.. that would be an awesome t shirt " im a member of the pole club, we love pole" then you could have gatherings and get your hands on everyones pole for a quick try, you know just to see how long they are. i'm done now.

wow some fags are still hating on no poles,  i thought that ended last year?   no poles is now a pretty big part of freestyle skiing, and its definatly going to stay that way and get even more popular.  shit even wihout poles we still can get around easier than snowboarders, so whats the point?

im way against no poles but i gotta say- no poles looks both more steezy and more chill in pics- as long as the hands are doing something like grabbing or tucking and not flailing- thats where having no poles loses out

you see. im not a conformist. i dont listen to the man. thats why this season, im doing something so unconventional, so unique, so mind blowing, that it will BLOW YOUR MINDS!

im skiing.....

NO PANTS!

BAYAM!

FUCK THE MAN, MAN!

starting a statement with that sentence leads me to believe youre in 6th grade which forces me to disregard the rest of what you said. sorry.

im not in 6th grade, but why should age determine if someones opinion is valid? i guess your even more of a hater than i thought, so i really dont care if you aprove of what i think.

did you seriously just ask why age should influence someones opinion? Would you rather believe a 4th graders opinion on current events or a 50 year old? with age comes experience with experience comes wisdom.

come on, this thread is to rebel against that one girls thread about not using poles this year...we just have to drop this issue, everyone knows now its a preference.

I am the opposite, i think poles just dont look right alot of the time, when people ski with normal length poles in the park they just looks dumb to me, then the park rats that ski with poles that are 12 inches long and do nothing. But as you said its personal preference.

As to poles being limiting, that statement is false to a point, huge alaska lines you see seth and sage doing, yes you need poles, normal bc lines no you dont, look at pep, andy, garrett r, jordans surface promo, all these guys are killing it just as hard as the next guy, but with no poles. Skiing is so great because there are so many different styles everyone is able to do what they want, people need to just this fude, neither is better or worse.

poles and skis go together. its like peanut butter and jelly, 90% of the time they work well together ALL THE TIME

when its someones opinion related to skiing, i think id rather listen to a 4th grader over a 50 year old. im not talking about like current political events or something. im talking about no poles and skiing, and i think everyones opinion is equally valid regardless of age, when it comes to that.

Well I'm stuck here in San Diego, all I know is that I'd like to go skiing and tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and 75, so all of you are lucky to ride poles or not.

how about everyone gets off pesimisms fat black cock and just go out and have some fun while skiing. this whole hate shit is pretty fucking old. especially about poles vs no poles. your opinion probably doesn't matter. if someone likes skiing with poles, ski with poles. if someone drops there poles and loves the feeling and it opens up a whole new fun factor of skiing then definately go ahead and ski with no poles. what are you accomplishing posting one more of the eight hundred billion threads hating on no poles?
