I think no poles looks gay. I mean its a person's choice, idc whether someone does it or not but it just doesn't look as good in my opinion. Its fun to go no poles for a run or two but its gay to be a no-pole skier. I mean poles help with balance, initiating turns, etc. If I was in the backcountry and I saw someone skiing with no poles I'd think there an idiot. Don't say poles are limiting. No poles is limiting.
