what type of skis do you all suggest? Like something a little more flexible then the public enemy's because i demo'd those with tele and they seemed way too stiff.

yea, there are plenty of tele-specific skis with inserts and shit already. piste-pipes are the k2 park ski, hippy stinx the seths essentially. but i do not follow that stuff too in detpth, but im sure someone here can assist you a bit more. but get a telespecific twin. youll prolly pull the bindings on a non inserted ski.

when tele skiiing your gonna find that you will catch your tails alot because when you ride trees your tails usually cross and with twins they will catch watch for that but wait till next year for new skis its to late in the season to buy this years skis

I have troublemakers for tele. They were cheaper than any of the tele specific twins, and work just fine.

I just skied the Hippy Stinx yesterday are they rock, Just on the groomers as I am not good enought in variable but I highly reccomend them

my friend (twintipteles on here) likes stiff skis way more for teleing in the park. he rocks some madtrix from like 05 i think. he had some k2 tele specific twins before that and he wanted stiffer.

I don't mind telemarkers, though I wouldn't want to try it, but what's the point of having twin tip telemark skis? You gonna go switch on those things? heh..

ill say i learned to tallywhack before i could down hill .

but ill say it agian.. ILL NEVER DROP A KNEE FOR A FACE SHOT

yes look at some of the vids. some teleer are crazy. anything light, not stiff will do the job. I tried tele on rossi bigbirds?sickbirds? something and 4 inches of pow felt like 1 foot

You laugh... but i see tele-skiers in the park all the time. I've seen them land big 180's and 540's as well as hit some pretty hard rails (d-f-d) with just as good steeze as anyone else in the park. I think tele-skiing is sick!

you can mount any ski with tele bindings. it dosnt matter what, i have seths mounted, i chose those over hippys because i liked the flex better when i was beginning. now im begging for a stiffer ski, probably gonna go with the ANT or the 193 EHP.

for you though, seems like teleing isnt going to be a all the time thing, so a softer ski would be good. any soft twin will work, Fujis maybe. not invaders, my personall opinion is against them for teleing. its just retarded. STLs seem like a bitchin all mountain setup. i dunno, anything will work, and youll have fun. give it some time too, youll get the hang of it. the first couple days/weeks are rough.

and unless its a straight tele park ski, or just a dickin around ski, do nooot get them centermounted. when you tele, your tips seem really short, center mounting would be...interesting. thats why you see all the tele specific backcountry and bigmountain skis mounted like on the tails. you guys think its 'fuckin gay' but theres a reason. they work wonderfully.

Ripping tele skiers are so fun to watch. If you want to see some ripping tele skiers, check out Powder Whore Productions. I have seen tele skiers throw down just as hard backwards as many skiers with lockdown heels.

i heard karmas were good for tele, but htey are a bit stiff, karhu makes wicked tele skis that are twined. get them.

ill sell you my old park skis.... foils with R8's..... fuckin sick set up, need to get a new kayak, ill sell it cheap 250

u might wanna stop rubbing your vagina and get out and try teleing cause its harder than alpining and anyone who can do it ten time a better skier than you

but anyways i have the rossi scratch fs (caution tape) and they kick ass, i love them in everything, i have them mounted boot center between the modern and standard line cause yo dont want a tele binding mounted center because then it fucks up the turn and u might as well be alpining then. they kill it in the park and crud and even mild pow, nothing deep but all-around they are sickkk!!
