So i get to school and i find that i have my moms keys....so i call my mom and take them back home....she writes me a note saying what happened to excuse my lateness...i get to school and i give them the note and the lady says your still late and its unexcused...i was like well i had my moms keys and she had to go to work...i said why am i still considered unexcused...i have a note from my mom...they say...well you couldve ridden the bus..the moral of the story is...1. schools are retarded

2. i have a tardy now so i cant come in late anymore..

3. it wuoldnt have mattered if i rode the bus or not...i still wouldve had my moms keys

and now i might get called down to the office because i got smart saying...it wouldnt have mattered if i rode the bus or not and walked out.....atleast skiing after school will help
 
haha. i have to be late 5 times before i get in trouble. yet i am late for every class and never gotten in trouble
 
i have been in a car crash and went i got in to school they still considered the tardy unexcused even though i had a note from the cop that was on the scene ( some stupid bastard blew a stop sign and hit my friends car... no one was injured)
 
yea schools are gay, i had to go to a doctor's oppointment to get blood tests, cause i have mono or something. So anyways i missed a test, i brought a note from my mom saying that i did and my gay ass french teacher wouldnt let me write it cause she said i could have gone a different time. I was like what a bitch.
 
that stinks...in my school if your late (unexcused) 3 times in a quarter you get your off campus taken away. thats your free period where u can go home and stuff
 
back when i was in highschool my friends mom was the attendance office lady. i could get away with almost anything, as far as missing school, being late, checking myself out, or whatever.
 
aiight my school is so fuckin gay when it comes to tardiness....if ur late fifteen minutes u get two office detentions b/c its considered a class cut, late 30 more office detentions and to top it all off if ur late by even like a minute u cannot participate in any afterschool athletic event, game, practice, state fuckin championship w.e. all this crap b/c ppl "abused" the rule and now theyr trying to "prepare us for the real world" bullshit thatll come when it comes
 
wow your schools are fucking gay, as long as you get good marks, you can skip as much as you want in my school. A kid i know who is just liek born smart sleeps in class all the time and doesnt pay attention always gets 80s, he got called down to the office and hes like look at my marks, you cant do shit.. it was funny
 
I hav eonly been late once ever. To any class or to school. and im a senor. Being on time isnt a hard thing to do and being late doesnt make you cool
 
my teachers dont care if i am late. as long as you do your work, the teachers let you do what you want.
 
my high school gave out saturday detentions if you were late in the morning, but my senior year i probably was late to school around 100 days and nothing happened, it was sick because i came into first period like halfway through every day and it was a big assembly class so they didnt care really
 
At our school it all depends on what teacher you have. some u can show up 10mins late and they wont say anything but others will mark you late after 10 seconds
 
thats so ridiculous, when you're late always write a note saying you didnt feel good, had a doctors appt. or a dentist appt.... always works
 
my school you are spossed to get suspended after 20 lates. i have racked in over 82 lates so far, from september till now
 
we get a lunch detention after 5 lates. i have two. i have to go the rest of the year without being late 3 times or else i get a, omg (gasp) lunch detention
 
i miss the first hour almost once every week, and out of the last 10 days i skipped 4. 2 for skiing, the other 2, the road was closed because of too much snow and avalanche danger so i went out skiing on those ones too...

and noone has ever said anything, you have to be a bad pupil that they are that strict. at least its so on my school, good guys (what i call myself) will not hear anyone asking where they were...
 
that sucks buddy. i can be late as many times as i want as long as i can get a note or have the rents call in
 
it all depends on the teachers at my school... but most of the time its just not that hard to be on time

I think I've missed 40 days in each class, you can only miss 14 days I think before they take your credits... and I'm getting all but one... hmm
 
sounds like my school, which is a school where if you're late to class, you get 3 detentions, but if you have an unexcused absence for the whole day, nothing happens.

i fucking hate my school.
