And I was about to the top of Snoqualmie Pass and there was SNOW at about 4,000ft! I was sooo amped!!! I mean it was summer yesterday.....Ive heard its gunna be another big winter for the PNW and I think its gunna be. Anyone else as stoked as I am!?!?
 
dude hell ya i love snoqualmie pass but i got to give it up for Stevens pass its way better.
 
I'd say best mountains in WA are Baker, Crystal, and Stevens. They all are pretty much evenly horrible though...I'd say Utah and CO are way better. Everyone go there.

but yea fuck WA... utahs way better they got all the light stuff... wa pow is waaaay too heavy
 
I took my sled up to alpental in like june when got done with my top end, there was plenty for a little jib run in the trees
 
haters, i used to ride there every day after school, hard to beat the drive from seattle, alpental has some sick backcountry.
 
Either of those are good, just stay the fuck out of stevens or 536 will fuck you up. Were kind of like mackdawg to chads gap for stevens~



Seriously though, Washington blows for skiing but I hear utah and colorado are pretty sick~

Alpental has some hidden stuff that is real good, u hust gotta hike to it. Just read Powder Magazines. And yea Snoqualmie kinda sucks but the Central Park is somewhat legit. It was pretty dope last year.......
 
Its hilarious all you kids say stay the fuck outta snoqualmie it sucks...it REALLY does suck..youve all obviously not skied anywhere else. Any mt in wa is better than snoqualmie and every mountain on the west side of the nation is better than any in washington. there is not one good thing about that mt besides the chick i met that gave me dome in the trees :) thanks snoqualmie
 
I also saw all the snow on my way to Ellensburg. I was so damn excited and can't wait to tear it up. I ride at Stevens Pass.
 
amen. every1 talks about how good washington is but i've ski'd all the big mountains here and they dont have shit on utah/colorado, or even montana mountains
 
hmm, comparing to CO, crested butte has more steeps, but summit is FLAT, and the amount of snow is not comparable. like 300 last year at keystone compared with 550 at stevens... i love CO but stevens has SOO much sick terrain and ususally dope ass snow
 
wa has the worst skiing in the nation, wet heavy corn like snow most of the year, with rain the rest.

utah is where its at, cold light fluffy deep pow. it just cant be beat
 
hey wat would you do if you lived 30min from snoqualmie and Stevens and WA ski resorts are all you could hit and i cant drive yet so i thrive on rides.

thats why SKI magazine's resort issue that just came out doesn't list any washington resorts in its top 50 best resorts lists. what? you guys don't religiously subscribe to SKI magazine?

this is very true. not as light as colorado but alot lighter then any mountains on the west side
