Should they be trusted? All ive heard are bad things. Im thinking of buying a siver cartel turkish and it says they have it in my size and perferred color. (I know siver went out of business)

Any thoughts?
 
Yo, DO NOT order of Getboards. Chances are they don't have your size, they didn't update the website, and they may ship you the wrong product. The website is terrible and they are anti-customer service. Besides, Siver is no longer a company, so the likelihood of them not having the product is even greater. 
 
yea tramdock and backcountry.com are my 2 favs even though they are almost the same product wise, backcountryoutlet.com is where its at i got a full orage set up for 173 shipped
 
Usually you'll get your product.. just dont pay more for extra quick shipping.. it takes them so long to get it out..

my brother bought skis and binders on "get boards" and it too like 3 days for them to get to MN

and the skis came better packed then my skis from "evo"
 
People seem to have really awesome or really terrible experiences with them. I personally have only had good experiences. I pre ordered a siver shirt a few years back and I got it a few days before it was even supposed to be shipped. Two of my friends and myself have ordered new skis from them and gotten them no problem.
 
They take forever on some things. I ordered boots and they haven't shipped the tracking number last time I checked, but I ordered idea and had it in two days.
 
a, they dont steal from you, but just order a few months before the snow falls, precautions, i might take a month or so to get to you.
 
Considering you are ordering a jacket, you could get some skis. Or maybe a pair of socks. Or maybe nothing. Do not trust.
 
It's been a couple years since I've ordered from them, but the 5 or 6 times I did worked out fine. However, given their reputation I'd order from somewhere else if you can find what you want at a similar price.
 
i ordered skis from them for like 3-4 years and it was fine but last year they sent me the wrong skis....

customer service was fine though....

so i dunno but i think im getting my shit from jibij this year...
 
I ordered an Armada hoodie of them and they sent the right product all the way to Aus in 6 days. I didnt use the shop order thing tho, I asked bout the size availibility over an email then ordered.

THey worked for me
 
they came through with a pair of aframes for me. although the shipping was a little longer than expected. legit i suppose.

I will call to guarentee they have the jacket i want. In my size and preffered color. Then order if they actually do. Thanks for all the info guys.
 
i've ordered twice from them, both times everything came within a week and a half.

second time i ordered anthems, no problems.
 
Getboards has been great to me. I got my spring sale skis in like 4 days, and I'm over in MA. And the other skis I ordered there took a week.
 
sent me thalls cross the country in 2 days instead of 5, nothing but good deals with them for me. it seems like they are better this year. call them up if your worried bout quantity
 
Jwenz has two Siver Jackets for sale..50 dollars, used slightly. They are in great shape. PM for pics and thread.!
 
get boards is legit, they fuck up sometimes, but for the most park theyre fair people and will go out of there way to make sure youre satified
 
I've boughten a hoodie off of getboards and it came just finehowever they are definitely ranked very low by the better business bureau, they have problems but I'd give em a shot, especially since the turkish is kinda rare. If you can get it off of tramdock though, do that.
 
ya i also ordered bindings(jib troubles) along with another 300 bucks worth of stuff from them...it took 2 weeks to get everything but the bindings and a movie; they said they were gonna ship them on the 15th, but im still waiting.
 
ya think they also run dogfunk but im positive the wesites set up exaclty the same and they have like the same stuff
 
likewise i order from them all the time and have never had a problem it took a little longer than average (close to a week and a half) to recieve my sweatshirts and a few tee's once but thats really not that bad
 
very wise decision. if you call, you should be fine it might take a while to get to you, or might come really quick. ive had both happen...

on another note i ordered the line pinstripe hoodie from untracked the other day and it came in 2 days. very fast.
 
Yeah I ordered my movie a day before my boots I had the movie in 2 days the boots still aren't here. I won't have snow for another month so I'm not to worried. It is weird how they work though, wonder if it has something to do with the free shipping they give you.
 
you cant always trust getboards. as long as if you just remember to call them about your order if you dont get an email response then you will be alright.
 
all 3 of my orders have been good. bought a jacket, shirt, and pants all at different times and recieved them in awesome times.
