So i saw some familiar faces at Mt. Baker today....

so today i was working the lunch rush at the lower lodge at Mt Baker, just wiping down tables and busing dishes when i look over and in walks Pollard and Pep with their little posse's of 2 or 3 guys, pollard in a bright over HH two piece suit, and pep is a DOPE red oakely suit. they were taking up the entire aisle and i had to get thru, so i say excuse me and they part, along the way i stopped and said what up to pollard, shook his hand, told him "dude, you are fuckin sick, and i love what you do, fucking sick" and went right back to bitch work. he laughed and said thanks, and that was that.

sorry if i "dropped names n shit" but it was my first actual encounter with a pro, and i was kinda star struck, so give me a break.
 
hey at least you have an entertaining story. Everyone has the right to be star struck at some point.

you shoulda had a convo with them, if u wernt gona get in trouble cuz u were working. i had a convo with simon up at sunday river, hes so chill, talked about next years promodel and freeskier and shit, so sick. thats sick tho man pep and pollard are ballers
 
thats sweet dude, i think it would be a dream come true if i got to ski a day or two with a pro skier, and they helped me with some of my shit. i know you can do this kinda shit at summer camps but i dont have that much money.
 
dude dont even worry about "droping names" and shit like that, I did the same kinda thing the first time I met a pro. It was pollard actually.....
 
that's really sick, i saw simon dumont at the bayside expo center at ski expo a few years ago and i saw shocked.
