So i need help with my mac

if you really have trouble with holding a button and clicking, you can go out and buy a normal mouse and then youll have a right click again

go to your mouse settings in system preferences. You can set up your secondary button as mac likes to call it there.

If its a laptop you put 2 fingers on the trackpad and then click, and if you have a mighty mouse its just where the right click would be.

ya 2 finger right click is the way to go. also enable two finger scroll, to use it you put two fingers on your trackpad and drag across the pad to scroll the page. very helpful

if you want to know any other shit, throw out some questions, this site has so many mac users itll be answered in seconds (like this was)

it's already been said but to right click you hold control and click. but another thing you should know about mac is you can click and drag anything everywhere. set up your hot corners and just click and drag to where you want it saved.

you gotta drag them manually on the bottom right corner theres no like, get all the way big button. The far right one by the closing buttons changes the size, but not necesarily to max.

Alright man you asked for it

What kinda antivirus/ spyware stuff works best for a mac (i know macs are much less susceptible to viruses, but this thing is gunna be put to the test with porn

next, how do i set up that 2 finger right click stuff?

also, what would you recommend for illegally downloading music on this puppy, I was thinking about going legal and free with ruckus which is legal and free for college students, but i here it doesnt work for a mac

and finally, what video player should i download for playing all sorts of videos, I was thinking gom player, but i dont know if it is made for macs

1. you don't need any type of virus control.

2. its the same as i told you, go into sys. prefs and go to mouse, or trackpad i guess, and then theres a selection you can make to enable the 2 finger click for secondary button.

3. use azuerus with torrents, or limewire, or use google, and search for the album with rapidshare at the end. its the best.

DER.

pm if you need help ;)

i have a mac at work and have flip4mac installed for videos. basically just takes any kind of video (except maybe realplayer, who uses that anyway) and plays it within quicktime, and lets you watch wmv files within the browser as a quicktime plugin as well.

another little trick for screenshots, since there's no 'print screen' button:

apple shift 3 takes a screenshot of the current window, apple shift 4 gives you a cursor to drag a window over the area you want to screenshot, apple shit 4 spacebar screenshots the whole app thats open, something along those lines.
