So, I made some pole designs

Alright, so i made some pole designs in high hopes that some would be the slightest bit interested. But before i go out and make a bunch, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested. Here are the designs: (sorry they are really crappy quality, i meant to do them on fireworks, but it wouldnt work.)

They will have a double coat of paint, and a double coat of clear coat. They would cost around 20$, so yeah, what do ya think?

sorry but I think its not worth paying good money for that since it will chip in one day and look ugly. I painted my own poles also and the result was not very durable, after that I dont think I would buy some sick looking home mades

Yeah I painted mine as well. Two coats of white base, one coat of color, and two coats of clear. Still chips. gotta be a better way.

they look nice but i dont by metal poles cuase i always bend them.... i stick with my public enemy poles that are made out of whatever fishing rods are made out of so dont stay bent

those poles on the left would go great with my rasta special blend jacket, my rasta ec beanie, my rasta smoking buds, my thall cbars, and my chalice that i made from a sprite can.

yes beleive me, from experience... they will. with poles you buy already painted, what they do I think is they use a paint which has to dry in an oven and that bassicaly cooks the paint into the poles. that way it dosnt chip, you would need insanely good quality paint for it not to chip with those steps and I still havnt found any paint remotely that good. not saying its impossible but I am skeptical

the one on the far right looks dope. can you zoom in on the center of them tho? cant see the graphic

that works too, lol

see if you can get a quote or something on powdercoating or anodizing the poles. id be willing to pay a few extra bucks for better quality paint

like someone said above, they probably powder coat their poles or if you were to sand them REAL WELL then they might not chip but I'd definitely cop a pair of those if they didn't chip and were only 20 buxs

poles with the original paint from the store will still chip, its inevitable. no matter how you paint they they are probably gonna chip

im starting to experiment with different auto paints. And as the person said before, i think i will look into some coating and such.

The key is just to prime and then do like 5 coats. That'll make them nice and shiny. Its really not that dificult to give them an auto factory finish, you can look in many auto forums for tutorials.

Update!

Alright, so i've just been messing around with some paint. (and yes skeptics were right about spray paint, it doesnt work.) And i've found an auto paint with the same strength as a typical pole. Its a tad more expensive, but i still think i might be able to keep the price around 25. To make sure the quality is up to par, im going to test it out next time i go skiing. If it works, ill be able to start selling in about 1-2 weeks.

Along with this I also came out with a couple different designs. I decided to stick with the rasta theme, due to the interest in them. Here are the designs.

I like the Black n White ones, I think it'd be kinda cool to use like the bent/curved racing poles..just for the heck of it.
