Was so good. I can't believe so many shit talkers on here badmouthed it, that was one of the best (if not THE best) ski movies I've seen. Some filming was a little bit shaky but unless you have extremely high standards you're not gonna give a shit, I didn't, it was so fucking sick. The amped peter olenick part was wicked.

^^i don't understand that site, do you pay the 4 and get the video for like a week and then if you pay $30 you get the 'DVD' but is really you just get to download it to your computer.

So why do they have a vhs option?

 
The songs in X were mostly terrible. There were a few exceptions. The skiing was good. People are very good at skiing now. The editing was improved from past years, but it wasn't nearly as good as Red Tape. Red Tape is just so smooth. It's a lot easier and more fun to watch than X, partly because of the music and partly because of the general pace of the two movies.

Ten has an epic soundtrack. Anthonys song along with a bunch others are amazing and edited perfectly.

I think red tape had a lot of energy...well, sort of. Great music all around, but the iceland(last)segment has sort of a slow song, and dosen't destroy the 'energy,' but still, it's a slow song. The skiing is great too, Larose, Gagnier, Schiller, and Rinfret had the best segs. It has really good editing, and goes along with the songs, which adds to the energy. You can't go wrong to get redtape...it's sick.

 
poorboyz always has the most generic soundtrack, and they stay true. While people will argue that the songs are by no means generic, just watch any other movie (than msp) and you will know what i mean.

But dont take that as an insult levin, i got nothing but love for you.

i thought redtape was really sick...but i have to say i think you get alot more for your money if you get X..it had alot more skiing in it and up1 is basbically another movie and a free cd with it

 
OH MY GOD, SImon in X = the smoothest skier in existence, hgis segment ALONE makes X Sooo dope, and his song is so sick too along with TJ's song. And skiing and tony b.

i didnt really like X but i liked all the original edits esspecaially chris benchetler hes going to brake out this season.

yeah i just got x yesterday, i havent ever liked anthony b...but wowwwww, he has a KILLER segment in X...the cork 3s both ways in the backcountry, amazing. and i got the DVD for 10 bucks, straight from johnny d...beat that.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

i loved the begining of X, but once the actual parts started i was disappointed, and yes i was turned off big time by the shitty music

im sorry to sya htis , but unless you liek candide thovexz air steeze olenicks air steeze is bad, his rail steeze is sick , liek the orage masters run or watever when ehs a vidoe game the raisl he did in that were sooooooooo sickk the first 270 on oh my goodness. but his air steeze doesnt quite cut it. howeeverr anthony boronowski, tj , simone. oh my lorddddddd soo siickkkk anthonys song , lover i dont have to love oh my goddd i cant ofcus on both at one time. those 3 segments oh my god , i dont need ot watch the rest of the movie. dope , i havtn seen high 5 but i expect it to desotry everyother movie leik ti does every year. well anthony B does a sik unnaty cab 9 in the BC its awesome. he kills it spinning both ways. totally kills it.

Yeah man, anthony B had such a sick part, the intro blew me away, and olenick... BEE GEES! I mean, that opening shot in super slow mo and the music to go along definitely had me going. I basically enjoyed every part except sages, treadway and szocs. I mainly just didn't like sage's song and treadway and szocs had really short parts that weren't anything new.

abma kills, boronowski destroys everything, and olenick is insane, along with the dumont, they're are def. leading the future on newschooling, but gagnier and vanular aren't far behind, if they're even behind. i prefer high 5 over x but they're both great videos.

can you say INCONSISTENT VIBE? It goes from hardcore to emo (anthonys part fucking rules though), to begees, to thug. Great skiing, I wasnt one for the overall movie impression. Worth it for the skiing alone? Yes.

in my opinion, as long as the segment flows, the movie doesnt have too...

The music was awsome... some songs I didnt dig, but over all they mixed it up ALOT. Simon is absolutley incredible... the zero spin he did up the step-up in whis is my favourite thing ever and wow! im stoked on this movie. yuppers.

^ me, because every section is awesome and that means i don't feel the need to skip. the only time i don't is when i have no time whatsoever so i go Boro, Olenick, TJ, Dumont (which is real easy btw, you only gotta skip to dumont the rest are 1, 2, 3.

Both High 5 and X have the best skiing, But Berman needs to step it up and use some better filming tech. it just dosnt look as cool.. as it does with X
