the only people who dont like wski are those who are close minded msp loving kooks. wski is hands down one of the best ski films I have ever seen. Especially tanner and rorys parts, not to mention pollard. The only downside I would have to say is Evan raps, I just dont get that.

my opinion of wski:
tanner hall's section not only takes the cake, but doesn't let anyone have even a taste of the frosting. he fucking destroys everything better than anyone. period.
CR's original section was amazing, but i have no idea what you guys will see on the new dvds, i have the original edit with the top gun theme that showed at the premieres
shoya and mickael's section is pretty regoddamndiculous and the song/acting is fucking classic too.
silva's section is off the meat rack.... literally. it's such a sick and unique (but slightly twisted) section with really good riding a la rory silva
the midgets (kye and sean pettit) section is fucking hilarious until you start crying because you realize these two little kids are so fucking good that you want to quit skiing and start a sweatshop to make sure no more youngsters start destroying the scene
dash's section is done unbelievably well. the cinematography of the lifestyle looks like it belongs in a serious drama film, which adds some cool character to an already sick skiing section
pollard's section has a few shots that will blow your pants off, and a few that will piss you the fuck off. i got sick of seeing him try cool things and then not land. i think if it would have been condensed to one song with just all of his absolute sickest shots it might have been a bit better, but overall it's still pretty damn sick to watch
all the commercials are badass, especially the k2 southpark spoof and the oakley screaming ad, both hilarious
the intro with the cali p song is fucking tits. he spits about the riders and lays down a sick track to start the movie off.
definitely the weakest point of the movie, which everyone has agreed on who has seen it, is the radio show hosting with evan raps. yes these parts are essential to bring the movie to life and give it a unique new feel, but he tries too hard to be serious while not being serious. he should have either done it completely professionally and primetime radioesque, or he should have gone the other way and made a mockery out of the whole thing. the way that he wavers inbetween the two really takes away from the effect it is trying to create
overall i think wski106 is possibly one of the freshest, toughest, and visually stunning ski movies of our generation
