there real cool, plaid and stuff and matches my coat.. but im a skier and im even that good at tricks and stuff, does this just mean the flaming begins for me?in other words am i just getting ready to be made fun of, be called a poser and shit i really don't care that much about what other ppl think but i just wanna know haha

Burton makes some great, high quality outerwear. Who cares about which brand is skiing or snowboarding, as long as your dry and having a good time.

i agree with everyone else who posted here. it dosent matter what your gear is. burton makes some sick stuff. just ride to have fun.

burton has their outerwear down just as well as if not better almost every ski and snowboard company out there so why not? I absolutely stand by their ronin lineup. great shit. its whter or not you wana support the snowboard industry.

you have 500 posts, can you please get a fucking icon already?

also: after 500 posts why would you still be making posts like this?

fuck dude, NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT BRANDS.

its about style.

if you are trying to pull off a style that aint you, then yes.

people will flame you.

Don't worry man. A snowbaorder at my hill was wearing a siver jacket. i asked him if he knew what siver was and he said a ski clothing company. he said he liked there stuff and it was a deal. Buy what you like because you like it not because other people.

burton has such nice outerwear. im probably getting some cargo snowpants from them and maybe a jacket as well.

yeah, the AK gear is probably my favorite line of super technical outerwear around. i had ronin pants for a while, it looks and works good, i don't see any problem, and tons of skiers wear burton stuff.

Dude no worries about it. I haven't gotten flamed once for wearing a full on Burton gear. No one cares because they know Burton makes sick/cheap gear. Sure on NS they may, but on the hill, no one would.

Yea that was a good deal. Most of their stuff is around 200 but if you compare that to Orage, HH, and Spyder... it's a pretty decent deal.

ii have a ronin shell jacket i got for 80 i love it, burton makes sick gear, i dont care who the gear is made by or what an individuals talent is, to each their own man, but just have fun while you ski dont worry about others

burton makes some really good stuff, i have some skier buddies who rocked full burton suites last year, and i wore special blend pants, wear w/e u want, it doenst matter, just ski and have a good time

ya i started a thred just liek this a week or so ago cuz i got the shawn white jacket and i got all positive feed back so it should be all good!

i have burton snowpants. got them for $55 when they were oringally 180. i dont care if people give me shit.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of people on here *sigh of relief*. My last pair of pants were burton and my new ones are too, just because they were cheaper than orage or siver stuff (or anything else i could find for that matter.)I'm the only one who has ever noticed so no worries!

wearing burton pants is really no different than wearing anon goggles or r.e.d. helmets...besides, snowboarding is cooler anyway

I got a pair of $180 Burton pants for 50 bucks. I was really happy but now i'm a little worried the insides of the pant legs will get ripped apart by my edges really quickly. But for 50 bucks...

who cares if he doesn't have an icon. i don't have an icon, and i think i probably have somewhere around 1600 posts or so.

i agree with the rest of your post.

^yeah is sick but pretty expensive, only the coat is 500$ i think. But white stuff like taht is really sick but gets dirty in no time, taht sucks..

I bought the coat today for 475 Swiss franc, it's about 380$.

I'm buying the pants next tuesday, and they're about 290$.

But it's a limited edition from Burton, and the guy at my shop told me that there are like 100 of this jacket for Europe, you gotta hurry up :p

Yah, Burton is totally legit. Mostly cause my mom's boyfriend works there and I get 50% off all their stuff.

I'm totally getting a huge Burton set-up next year, their stuff is so sick, and skiing style is so close to snowboarding style it doesn't make you look like a snowboarder, label you as a snowboarder, or say anything about snowboards (oh, except the Burton thing, but you get it)

i got burton pants because they looked cool and matched my jacket. and they have good quality.

If somebody is looking at what brand your clothes and judging you by them instead of riding, then they have a problem not you.

dont worry about whos gona make fun of you, just try to progress the best u can. find some good riders and learn from them, before you know it ul be stomping tricks

i've got a burton jacket. burton makes really durable shit since mien has gone through so much bashing and not ripped yet. but with that white set up^ dont you find white gets dirty so quick?
