saw some foils this weekend in stoneham. Their alot wider than i expected,and the tip is shaped kinda wierd, but still pretty nice just the same

their alot softer than i thought they'd be, but that was just flexing them with my hand, so they could be stiffer i spose, i'd have to ride them. Nice job overal tho, they're pretty sick

i rode them today. i didnt think they were that wide - but they're quite heavy (then again it could have been those shit salomon bindings they put on them).

the thruster is the park ski... foil is just like an all mountain park. and gun is bc. the thruster is alot better in park and alot wider....its a redesigned 1080

^^yeah salomon gave up on the spaceframe cos now they dont use foam core they use wood or thc so its invalid///the design looks way sicker in real life - super-clean.

I took them out for a ride in the terrain park. Stiffer then the CR Johnson's I've been using. Real nice feel.

 
who brags about holding ski's, you all obviously do not ski enough. bragging in the middle of summer ain't bad, but winter is not over yet. GO SKIING!!

^^ OK, somebody in the previous 4 messages either hasn't ridden them (and is talking out their ass) or doesn't know how to evaluate ski performance.

STIFFER than CR's?

Jesus I mean, the CR's are noticeably stiffer than the 1080 so where does the Foil truly fall? What lengths have you guys been riding?

I don't think it's possible for them to be softer than the 1080, so I assume that guy is full of shit... meanwhile, I would like some solid statement from anyone with credibility telling me that salo has a non-foam core before I even take those skis seriously.

So, anyone got a hacksaw?

The skiis I saw still had the spaceframe shit....the thruster and gun are EXACTLY the same as the 1080 and pocket rocket. The foil had the spaceframe lok to it but I won't comment further cause I only saw them and never rode them

 
i rode the 174s last week and they are softer than 1080s, theyre meant to be, theyre fatter, i had 1080s two years ago and these are definitly softer
