he's a springer spaniel, we have an older springer, and he follows him around.
it is so sketchy, it always trys to turn around and wails his head on the courner of the wall. he also eats shit everytime he tries to gap something. it's so tiny.
and to answer your question, yes, you did need to know this
puppies are sweet, yeah man, you just need to keep an eye on it and if you notice it sniffing around looking for a place to crap you take it outside.. then it gets used to pooping outside and its all good, thats what i did with my puppy this summer and now he doesnt do anything inside.
my lil bro got this dog so i come home one day and i call my mom like wtf is this? we got a dog?!? and shes like yeah take it outside and tell me if it poops or pees or both and so now i have to do that. then it has this annoying ass high pitched yelp. its def not a bark. i hate it.maybe if it was mine id like it more, but still, last thing we needed to make noise is a dog.
I got a puppy this past fall (so he's still a puppy, and there's a shot of him in my media if you wanna see him ) and he of course shat inside all the time, too. Best thing to do is to put out a buch of newspapers in your house/apartment for him to shit/pee on. When he pisses/shits on the papers tell him he's good.
Also, take him outside like at least 5 times a day, so that he does his stuff out there. Then he'll feel weirded otu about doing it inside your home, and just do it outside.
Oh yeah also, if you can see he's about to take a piss or shit inside, pick him up as quick as you can. Then put on shoes/coat or w/e and go outside with him. (They basically can't pee/poop when they're picked up)
What he said about it being sketchy is so true of all puppies, they arent used to their legs yet, its funny as hell to watch one try to haul ass to get to the food bowl in a hurry
