and now im all fucked up! pills are great haha . anyone got any ideas of what i can do while im bedridden for the next couple weeks ?
I think i might write a novel

ive already had the surgery twice. let me tell you, the best thing you can do is enjoy the pills and enjoy everyone doing whatever you want them to do. Watch a lot of movies, make an edit, play some xbox, idk dude just keep busy. cuz once you run out of things to do, you will want to kill yourself. If your friends are willing to chill with you, then definitely have them come over cuz it keeps your mind off your situation. ohhh and DO NOT think about skiing! it will make you MADDD!!!

check out these hats i madeee

trip out on pain killers and play video games or watch movies.... that's what I did.

I also suggest you stop taking the pain killers AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so you dont get hooked on them

and then take all the left over ones and sell em! thats wat i did and made a good amount of cashhhh....100% profit dude
wat do u have? i had percoset the first time and vicodin the second

I got the perks . I like them better than vics , vics make me a lil sick .
^^^ i wont get addicted pills isnt really my cup of tea its just nice right now
Trying to stop smokin weed on the other hand .... NOPEE

I was given t3's and percs for my ACL surgery, and they gave me Vicodin for my hip dislocation. Vicodin is VERY intense, I stopped taking it after 1 week and just dealt with the pain

fuckin a im going to be in the same boat as you man. i go in for my ACL next week. doc says i will be living on the couch for the next 3 days after surgery.

yeah i had my acl done two years ago...let me tell you something, keep the pills going cause if not its gonna feel like someone is continually hitting your knee w/ a baseball bat. that surgery was rough

take those surveys that pay out money. I used to do that and I would make about 5-10 bucks every day or two. Then you cash out and they send you a check. Legit way to pass the time and make some $.

After two days the pain killers made me sick. I just crocheted, watched basketball and hockey, played tony hawk. At least you're not missing skiing from your surgery so thats good!

idk wat you guys are saying about the painkillers making you feel sick, but i loved em and they saved me from a shit ton of pain. now im not the kind of guy who enjoys getting high off these things or whatever, but they were a necessity after surgery (especially the first one)
ohh and what are you using to replace the ACL? i used my patella the first time and then i tore that graft out so now i have a donor piece in there (yea...dead guy parts)

had mine done 3 weeks ago with a patellar graft and a meniscus repair, it hurt like hell. I was back at school withing the week though, that blew. And im still on crutches for another 3 weeks that blows also

yea dude. i have possibly the worst luck in the world. I tore it the first time in october 2007, right before ski season when i was playing football and had surgery 6 weeks later. that put me out all last season. they used my patella to replace it and the recovery sucked so hard. i hated that fuckin machine that moves your knee (do you have that? ). anyway, then last september i tore out the patella graft that they put in last time during camp for football (its when the team spends 4 days sleeping at the school and have like 12 hours of practice each day, its pretty much hell) and yea i tore it on the last practice on the last day of camp. so i went through the whole thing just to be put out for the season again. but i had the surgery 2 months later and they used a donor piece cuz they didnt wanna take more shit from other parts of my leg. so that put me out for this season...
they said 1% of people who have ACL replacement retear the graft....thats me
now thats a fuck my life story for you right there

everyone saying the pain killer make them sick and vicodin is strong.. Vicodin doesnt even effect me but it does take away the pain. Really my doc says its not that addictive. I am still on them for therapy and I had my srugery Jan 14. that being said I had a staph infection and they thought I would never regain use of my leg so...
but yeah if you run a fever call your doc no questions. trust me if you dont want staph and if you have it you want them to get on it right away

yea i got that ice shit in my leg ... im sorry to hear you have had such bad luck that sounds terrible ... hope youre all better now tho

thanks man, i am better now and cleared for sports and stuff but the therapy is probably one of the worst parts. I had to go 3 or 4 times a week for like 4 months both times....it suckssss. So theres something for you to look forward to! goodluck
