so i got a pair of crappy rossi skis at a sports recycle shop for the summer for water jumping but they are like half a foot taller than me, they are pretty damn heavy, and they aren`t center mounts.

i wanna get 7s and cork 7s down but im not sure if im gonna be able to spin all the way around cuz of the skis i got.

what do you guys think?

First of all remount them where you want them. And I think the length wont matter... ever seen someone throw a cork 7 with hellbents? I have and i'm pretty sure those are probably bigger than whatever you just bought.

Yeah, don't worry about the weight, the only thing you might wanna do is get them mounted closer to center for a better swing weight... other than that, you should be fine!

you know, people were doing cork 7's just fine before anyone thought about centre mounting a pair of skis.

oh i miss the days (well, not really) where skiing park on 210 race skis was the norm... ok - those days didn't last that long, but still.

once you get your spins and shit down on bigger and heavier skis and you take it into the park you will definitely see an improvement in what ever trick your doing

you will be fine. If I can recommend something it would be get a low volume boot, they fill up with water and get really heavy. You can also drill a few drain holes in them but it is mainly the liner that soaks up all the water.

thanks i never thought of that.

but i usually just rent the boots cuz its a pain to dry em and if they dont dry right it'll start smelling pretty bad
