By serving in the military, you're protecting our right to freedom of choice, freedom of expression and freedom from oppression. Seems pretty hypocritical to me that you're attempting to promote your worldview through violence. By serving in the armed forces, arent you supposed to be protecting U.S. citizens from that very same thing, except on a larger scale? Who the hell do you think you are, forcing others to abide by your rules and harming them if they dont? You're immature, irresponsible and selfless. No matter how much good you've done for your family doesnt justify the fact that what you're doing is WRONG and disgusting. Beating people up because you get beer spilled on you at a concert... what the fuck. I'm in disbelief.

You boast about how proud you are that you can support your family. Wanna know the sad part? Not once have I heard you boast about how proud you are that you can raise your daughter. You're so busy with 2 jobs, school, and the national guard, how often do you actually see them? And then you participate in something that takes away MORE time? Pfffft!

You're hypocritical, and you're only setting your daughter, and future child, up for disappointment. Children come first. And if you are part of a group that beats people up because they don't conform to your beliefs, then you are not putting them first. You are putting yourself first. Just because you can put food on the table, and roof over their heads, doesn't mean you deserve the title of 'Dad'.

Actually most of us are doing the exact opposite. We DONT hurt people because of their beliefs unlike these lunatics. We DONT push our morals on others with a knuckle sandwich. Firefighters go through tremendous risk for their country, but do we see little magnetic ribbons "support our firefighters"? No. The only time military personal deserve higher respect is when the draft is enacted and we are actually fighting for our country. EX World War II.

Whats so great about him being an ex-military? Running around the world killing people but its respectable because he had a uniform? Especially when there is no good reason for the war, and anything that was taken for granted would be exactly the same if he or the whole military wouldnt have fought in or would have losen? Although nobody ever wins in a war, especially the 1 000 000 iraqi civilians who died in this one.

that's so retarded. if you've ever been to a REAL hardcore show IN BOSTON, you'd know that its not about fighting and beating each other up. i know a ton of kids who are in the hardcore scene and in bands who are straight edge, but still have friends who are into partying and everyone hangs out...its really not a big deal unless you MAKE it a big deal.

Beating people up for smoking or drinking has a complete opposite effect. People aren't goign to bend over backwards because you have some views that differ from yours, regardless of how you think it will better the world. If you want to make this world a better place, recycle and drive a car thats good on gas. Your not being courageous if your making people want to drink or smoke because they dont want to be like you.

Two it isnt up to him to run around killing people and im sure he doesnt like doing it. Ill break it down for you because i dont think your intelligence could take in the short way of explaining it. The president asks congress to go to war, they agree. Then the order a meeting of the JCoS and come up with a stragedy for the quickest victory. When he gets orders to go complete an objective he has no choice on whether to do it or not. So yes it is repectable of him to be in the military because he is putting his life on the line to save worthless pricks like urself from the draft. Without people like him we would have a draft so you should be thanking him so you wouldnt be forced into the service. Dont be mad at the military, its the commander and chief all they do is follow orders it isnt up to them. And yeah lots of iraqi civilians have died, but when your enemy doesnt wear a uniform its hard to tell the diffrence between insurgents and civilians, but when that bullet flies past your head or kills one of your brother, your going to shoot back whether or not you feel its right or could hurt other people. They dont fight for you or me or the president, they fight to make sure the guy to the left and right make it home alright.

if you turn on national geographic channel in a few minutes its a documentary on the straight edge community and the violence in it now. the commercial mentioned that these "crews" are being classified as gangs now.
