So how much time do you actually get on the mountain at windells?

You get enough time I would say. Its from like 8-3 or something. The bus ride isn't that long, like 20 minutes or so. It gives you enough time to fully wake up.

20min my ass its at least 45, ur a good 15min out of govy and then its at least 20 from there to the lodge, the service road itself is like 10min

ive gone there for the last 3 years and you get start skiing at around 8:30 and you can take busses at like 1:30 2:00 2:30 and 3:00 so it depends how your feelin

I totally forgot how long the van rides were, I just thought of something that sounded reasonable, But I feel like it was less than 45 minutes.

Thats cuz the van rides are so fun! I went back in 2003 when I was 16 and it remains one of the best weeks of my life. You will progress so much and all the coaches are super sick and offer tons of good knowledge. I went there not even being able to 180 over a 15 foot table and left doin 5's over the 40 foot table and hittin just about any rail/box I could find. Sad to say that after moving to AZ for a few years and not riding I regressed, but Im workin on it again, thinkin of goin back maybe but I don't know what its like for a 22 year old.... anyone else know? That or I was gunna try High Cascade. There skate park is tits too, soooooo much fun just go if you can gather the money.

windells is fucking far from timberline, we drove by it at mhssc and it's way out there. they seemed to get to the mtn around the same time as us (7:30 ish) and they usually were still there after i left with race camp

Well with staying up late, running around back at camp, and hiking a ton, I was ready to leave at 3. You definitely get enough time to ski.

Each day feels so long and great, you ski a shitload, skate around, chill, eat, trampolines, random activities.... then it starts again the next day.

do you take the bus rides with the coaches? i wouldnt mind 30-45 mins on a bus with T-Wall or some other well known skier.

no it sucks that he has to watch windells camp while hes at race camp, cause chances are hes having a worse time there than windells.

Im not hating on racing, i race for my highschool.

its 15 minutes to govy, then tline road takes between 8 and 11 minutes. for an average of 25 minutes, not 45

you ride the bus with the coaches who stay at the windells campus. most of the coaches stay at the coach house or whatever its called, which is a few miles away from windells. you ride up with the coaches who stay at windells. last summer i ended up riding up with rory silva for a few days, it was the scariest thing of my life

i dont know where this gay rumor came up about not getting any time on the hill, but its completely wrong. the bus ride is like 25-35 minutes, not really that much because its early in the morning so you can just listen to toons and fully wake yourself up. then u ride for a long time, and they have multiple cars back so if you want to leave early, you can, but if you want to stay till 3 or a little later then you can. at the end of every day you will be exhausted because of how much you can shred in one day. i think its like 8-3 or 9-3 i dont remember but either way thats 6 or seven hours everyday. i went last year, and i paid for the whole trip, and i felt that it was worth every cent.

He was never in one of the camper vans. The "well knowns" aren't really ever on the vans.

its about 25 minutes

van rides are super chill

dont make noise near silent rock

dont ride up with marc kelsic

can get on the van to go there from 8-9 and you can leave as early as 1 or as late as 3, i do remember staying till 430 one day though
