Just searchbarred this and couldnt find a thread on it... and not trying to start hate on snowboarders but i was just wondering how many snowboarders are on ns? and yes i am a skier

Just kidding mannnn, but I've seen 7 or 8, theres way more than that though, most of the time you dont even know though
 
yeah i know theres gotta be quite a few.... the other day i found out about two of my snowboarder friends secretly hitting up newchoolers!?!?

i tried snowboarding in ski boots once, and i didnt really like it. so now i just purely ski, but i dont hate on snowboarders just because i suck at it haha
 
I boarded for a little while during the season after I quit racing, I was decent, like I landed a 360 in a beginner park at whistler and I could grab and stuff. I still strap one on every now and then but skiing's just way more fun and you don't have to sit down every time you want to get on the board.
 
yeah i was out one day with one of my friends who boards, and out of nowhere i just strapped into the bindings on his board and tried the bunny hill haha wasnt too successful with ski boots though as you might imagine
 
i'm bout 60/40 on the board/ski scale..........only film snowboarding tho, much more legit and been doin it longer

and both are legit
 
I do both. After 15 years of skiing you gotta try something different.. so I picked up snowboarding. Its usually 70/30 skiing/boarding.
 
I also do both, although been skiing for most of my life, and would ski over snowboard any day. Only snowboard when conditions are really shit.
 
yea i tried that to and i usded to have a plastic snowboard i usded at a ditch by my house when i was younger. ive always liked skiing wayyy better tho
 
hmmmm.....now this makes me wonder. Do you actually hate snowboarding, and too stupid to realize what is going on? Or am I making a complete ass of my self right now, we shall see......

im a snowboarder too. i think skiing is sick. and when people hate on the other sport its lame because everyone is just trying to have fun on the mountain. and its retarded to stereotype skiers or snowboarders because there are assholes who snowboard and assholes who ski. i have mad respect for skiers and i just want the same thing in return as a snowboarder
 
both, snowboarding easier on the knees

why hate on snowboarding thou with out snowboards you would be cruzing groomers on directional straight skis
