So how many people are still skiing?

What pisses me off is that the hills around where I live all still have amazing snow cover, but they are already closed cause of forest service agreements, when they could run for so much longer.
 
yeah i live in the tahoe area, and all the resorts are closed, sans mammoth. but me and my buddies are making the trek to midmountain to shread some spring thaw rails
 
Mt bachelor's park is still holdin strong,they threw up a 5 box combo. pretty fun.

I love how every ns'er from NY is tremendously jealous right now, including me.We had the shittiest season of my life this year, the season ended early (first week of April) and even when the season was at its "peak" it still was shitty, icey garbage. The year before we actually had a solid 2 weeks of lake effect powder days that were legit as fuck. Thats why I bought fucking Czars for this year. But no, I skied ice on my Czars, every day. It wasn't bad, it just felt like a waste.
Oh well, I graduate next year, I'll head to revvy or A-bay, or maybe hood, and ski all the fucking time. Ski bum LIFE SON
 
I thought my season was over back in April, but I am traveling in India and have got up to the Himalayas in time for some touring, going tomorrow, so stoked! Got some pretty interesting rental gear, old Rossi Bandit boots that are a size bigger than I normally wear, and some old school scratch BCs (the orange ones with the naked girl), I was offered an old french ski instructors outfit to wear, but it was too small.
 
I could be still skiing, but only indoor. but it's still better than no skiing, but I Torn ACL or something so I can't ski.
 
Nice. My hill closes in one week, I have some random pipes and shit I'll make a couple rails wih, no I am not lucky to be able to has a summer rail, I slaves my ass for days finding this setup building material
 
today was the last day at alpine so the only lifts left in tahoe are donner ski ranch and kingvale (ropetow)... still a solid 10foot+ base above 8000... expecting snow above 7000 tomorrow night so there will be sled laps taken on tuesday!
 
allot of people are still skiing timberline but the passes are going to expire really soon and there still is plenty of snow......its GAY
 
I'll be skiing or snowboarding this weekend. They closed Mineral though, which I'm not that excited about. Still a lot of good riding left back there!
