So how is steep?

All of you that have bought the game, how is it? Likes, dislikes? Favorite part of the game? Is it worth getting?
 
Its super fun if you like big mountain, but if you're more into park go for SNOW. Being able to walk is huge because you can get to lines you wouldn't be able to get to just skiing down. If I had any dislikes it would probably be the always online bullshit and the price. If you're into the other sports they have I'd say get it, but if you just like the skiing then wait till you can get it for cheaper.
 
good game for party playing. I played the beta and enjoyed it. The snowboarding is basically that Shaun White Snowboarding game ubisoft made but the skiings actually pretty good. my favorite part was finding steep lines/chutes and airing out of them. I found some sweet ones for sure.
 
Fun. It does what it wants to do very well. It's not very trick-centric, so it won't satisfy people who want a skate on snow. On PC it's extremely well optimised, which was unexpected given it's a Ubisoft game.
 
Is anyone playing the PC version and if so are the keyboard and mouse controls ok or should I just use controller?

Yeah, but they're fun which IMO is more important. Well, paragliding isn't but it's super useful.

It depends, i have a PS4 and half of my use is either Steep or youtube/netflix/internet browser. Its good for entertainment purposes and not just strictly gaming.

That's what I was thinking as well. The console can act as your entertainment system with all of the apps you can use. I just don't feel like dropping over $200 for an Xbox hahaha
 
I think the game is sick all around, however I have only put in a few hours into it.

I didn't want to be that guy but there should be a thread where we can share crazy lines we find and/or play together.

EA social media has been slammed with people begging for skate 4 for months and there's been no word... EA can suck a dick. I'm gonna go troll their IG with #makeEAskateagain
 
i enjoy it. like deebieskeebies said its pretty cool to find your own lines. and the gropro pov mode makes everything a little more interesting too.
