do they have natural hits too?cuz like up here in AK we dont have a park...so we go and make these monsterus natual hits that have super sketch landings on them and we fuckin throw down...when i was at vail, i didnt see one natrual hit the whole time i was there...but here we make these huge setups completley natrual, i think for a couple days we had setup a 80-100 foot gap just right in the middle of the mountain, completley fine and the ski patrol didnt have a problem with it...so my quaestion to you lower 48 skiers is...do you guys go and make big natrual hits were u just go and stomp out a lip and hit it..or is the park good enough that you dont have too?this is not a stab at the lower 48 im just wonderin what you guys do out of the park(not cliffs).....

at my mountain they used to have a 'terrain park' in the trees, it was just cliffs ad hits and stuff. now its a local's spot, so i cant tell you where it is.

My hill they smash any home made jumps. Alot of places in ontario do that. Ski patrollers are douchebags.

i think its a combonation of not having terrain like that in the resorts and the fact that the parks are pretty good already. i dont know.

you can find stuff in Whistler, such as the windlip, which is the most amazing natural kicker with a perfect landing.

well we would build em, but they would get destroyed if they were bigger ten 3 feet high. Then we got a park and I was too lazy to build anything. Blus its really hard when your hill is 80% man made snow.

u guys keep saying build, he means natural. I.E.- no more then packing it out w/ ur skis. my mtn has a few nice windlips that u can take about 80 at the most. all the real good natural jumps are in the bc.

i grew up skiing tahoe my whole life, and until two years ago, i ONLY skiied natural hits and BC type kickers. And that still remains my fav. shit to ski, windlipped cornices, cliffhucks, logs, treestumps, there is nothing better than that shit, and even the man made shit that people put up doesn't get f-ed w/ aslong as its in an area that doesn't really get alot of traffic... ie. double blacks, expert only areas, cliff areas, the kinda places where people who don't konw wtf they are doing won't go..... I fuckin want to ski AK so bad because of that kind of rep. that it gets.
