So as the season comes to an end (for some) what are some highlights of the season?

Pretty simple what was the best day of your season, trick, whatever your stoked about from the 07-08 year.

I gota give it to the last day, 45 out side sunny the most epic day.

i have some of the greatest memories from this year. my favorite thing about this year was just skiing itself. every weekend was like vacation for me i just loved being with friends out on the slopes. and i got alot better.

FIRST CORNICE DROP

actually skiing, i broke my arm in november, and my hand still cant move, i have to nopole, in a moto hgelmet with a giant blue mitten over my right arm from my hand to my elbow

ordered new skis'''

bluebird, thigh deep powder

march 16 at panorama and january 5th at lake louise.

the reason pano was dope was because we hiked this one place called taynton(sp) bowl and it was untracked thigh deep powder, it was sooo sick. and we only saw one other person to whole time.

and louise was sweet because they got 41 cm over night and it snowed all day, and i was skiing by myself so i was following around these weekend warriors because they were talking to ski patrol and seemed to know what they were talking about. so they were talking to ski patrol and ski patrol said they just opened a bowl, so i followed them to it, and it was epic.

yea definatly.

i also got a camera and got to film some stuff, got filmed by my friends, made edits, learned a shitload of new tricks (double front and a variety of off axis spins), just thinking about this season gets me pumped so much for next year. this is easily my best season so far.

probably how much NEW stuff i got down this season. so much of a better skier than last yr rails and jumps wise and just rippn around switch and hitting bigger cliffs.

last day of park there was a big air comp (yesterday) and i did my first 720 and my first spin with a grab (tail 3) so i was mad pumped about that.

until next year..

haha yah so did i and my first 7 and my first 5 and switchups and 450s and 270s both ways s much that i learned this year!

as far as best days for rails go i got 8 different kinds of preztles this afternoon. Best days overall was when i passed out mad early for some reason on a friday night that it snowed 10 inches, then the next day the park was groomed, soft, and it was a bluebird day. I got there at 8:30 and had the best day of the season.

opening day, pfcinco, my run from the top of whale tail to the base of breck, skiing A51 and brecks parks, fountain freestyle in downtown cinci

My favorite part of the season was that I was able to ski with my friends. The events were fun but skiing is really where its at for me. Another highlight was hitting the first two jumps in the big line at Keystone and skiing in Colorado for my first time.

Ski season coming to end means it'll be a few more months before I see all my good friends again for ski movie premieres in the fall.

This was my first year of park, but i learned how to 27 on and off, and a lot of other stuff...im still pretty bad tho, i had alot of fun doing it tho....

skiing tahoe for the first time....teaching handicapped kids how to ski....epic powder sessions.

There's a 2 way tie for 1st place, either:

Alyeska for spring break, first 2 days were both 20-30 inches of fresh both days and 70+ inches the days before. God that was epic.

And closing weekend (march madness) was hella fun, and I learned soo much that weekend.

apart from pretty much every day..... first there was the flip session at a random peice of crap jump at smuggs, it ended up being gnar. also my first slopestyle finishing fourth after not even landing my big trick at stowe. then finishing second at smuggs big air contest. and of course above all....... the chairlift freestyles which lead to a lot of laughters.

first park year for me, so i'm pretty content with 270 on/off easy boxes, some slightly difficult boxes/rails, 3, sw 3, and 5 off of some tiny jumps, and a few decent grabs off some bigger jumps...yeah, all in all, i'm pretty satisfied that i learned a bunch of the basics, and hope to step it up next year. but hopefully, I'll get one more day in this year.

landing my first corked spins

getting my pass taken for good for jumping the lift, but it was worth it because the trail i jumped onto was probably top 3 runs of my life.

in that same run i had my first encounter with an "avalance" more like heavy sluff but you could see a 5 inch fracture at the top, whole trail went down, this is east coast mind you.

sessioning stuff with friends, beatboxing in the chairlift, landing new stuff and getting 2nd place in a slopestyle comp. i got alot of NON highlight stuff tho too

the day my house got 16 inches... i know not a lot of snow... but i live in illinois.

first 270 offs 270 ons

first urban

first front flip

and just a super fun season

on january 5th i was supposed to fly home after a week at Jackson Hole, but it snowed 14 inches overnight and my flight got cancelled. i got to ski first tracks of the gondola and also got to ski the next day too before driving to Salt Lake and flying home from there

My first year out west, ended up not progressing in the park at all because i discovered powder for the first time and im now in a love affair with it ;-) its so damn sexy

Skiing Revelstoke on opening day was pretty epic.

...I also broke my right hand a couple weeks ago, right below the knuckle on my middle finger.

every day skiing this year has been good. even the bad ones. It's been my first year skiing the wasatch, every day has been legit.

I just walked in door after flying home from my season in Switzerland. I skied more days than any other season. I got a lot better in the park and skied some really gnarly shit. I skied pow to my bellybutton. One day of super light snow was especially epic. Skiing about 25 inches in the trees.

Shredding With Luke Van V at Schweitzer in thigh deep pow and hopping off cliffs into the white abyss. It was so fun that day. My legs were shot after lol

in general id say hiking jay when it was closed ....then hiking the face about a million times during the next 2 days...craziest run was def wen my ski popped off right wen i got into one of the chutes under the tram and i would have fallen all the way to the bottom if i hadnt grabbed a tree stub...hung there for a few minutes got my ski back on then straightlined the entire thing. after all the energy i spent hanging from the tree and putting my ski back on plus the adrenaline rush pretty much the entire time i pretty much toppled over and layed for a couple seconds then stood up and screamed like a wild animal then skied to the bottom and ate a yummy sandwich and a gatorade but my season isnt over yet!! hopefully tuckermans brings on some great stories in the coming month but this season was really my first "spiritual" experience when it comes to skiing it really went way beyond just having a good time and it definitely helped me through some rough times...sorry for the long post but this year was an amazing year and i hope everyone else had as much fun as I did

Definately getting back into skiing after taking about 8 years off. I am 24 now and my little bro got me back into skiing even though he snowboards. Finding Newschoolers has been a huge highlight. I also got my 360 down off the biggest jump in my home park(which is not that big). I can't wait to get twin tips and new boots this off season.

Rag dolling off of a 40 ft. cliff into trees and landing on my head and shoulders in 8 ft. of snow...sans helmet...magically wedged between two trees. Surrounded by broken branches. Missing a ski (Bridge's less than a month old). Standing up completely unscathed with a lil' pee pee in my pants. Finding my ski minutes later. Having a witness who validates my story every time i tell it.

Close second: Learning that my suspected acl was only an mcl and miniscus tear...and skiing 5 wks. later. Booyah.

rode pretty deep pow a couple of times this season due to the great amount of snow we got in quebec and also because we found nice trails. also my trip to whistler was crazy. sick season and still a couple of weeks to go

Scared myself silly by hitting a terrifying double stager that I had to climb down a tree with my skis on to access. Also got my first frontflips off cliffs. And shredded with some really dope riders.

Every minute I've skied this season has been great. Wether it was opening day when there was nothing set up and just ripping on groomers with some friends making it just as fun as any day in the park. Or if it was riding an epic park and just learning new or just making old tricks better. Pow days were plentiful and so sick this year. Any day I was out on the snow skiing was the best day this year and of my life.

pretty much everything but best parts were getting good rodeo's, cork 7's and then of course the NAO.
