okay, so today in chemistry i realized I had left my hw at my house. later in class, after everyone handed in their homework, the teacher presented two homeworks that had no name on them. the first one was claimed, the other one was not. so i claimed it as mine, and put my name on it. it wasnt mine...but i didnt want the teacher to get pissed that i didnt have my hw.

i honestly feel terrible about what i did, although should i feel too badly? because no one claimed it.

please dont hate, i know this was a complete d-bag and stupid thing to do, and i feel terrible about it.

any good plans for getting karma back on my side? i dont know whose it was.

but seriously though- its their fault for not being attentive enough to realize that they left their name off- and then even dumber by not claiming it- so survival of the fittest

yeah man, i dont know..its just i never do things like that. i just wasn't thinking really, i just kind of did it.

i usually try to be a nice guy to everyone, i'll make a special effort to everyone tomorrow though. i just have to move on i guess.
 
Yeah don't stress much, I understand why you feel bad but hey everybody makes mistakes sometimes. You didn't do anything awful or anything so go ahead and let it go. Just be a nice guy to people, it'll be fine. I've made tons of mistakes, tons. But i just try and help people whenever i can or do people favors even when I know they'll never return it for me...things work out in the end.

What would really suck is if the homework you claimed was yours was all wrong.

Once some kid realizes he didn't get credit for it (maybe he won't since he didn't even know he didn't put his name on it) he might bring it up with the teacher, then you might have a problem. Actually, you probably won''t, the teacher will just be like "well I don't have it". Just hope she doesn't let him look through all the homework.
 
I feel like a fuck face. On monday in chemistry i somehow ended up with this kid's homework who has always been a douche to me, so i made a spur of the moment decision to write penis after a bunch of his answers, then i tossed it back to him. It turns out he didn't look at the paper, and turned it in anyway.. Today he was called down to the office and the assistant principal is flipping a bitch over it. He called a couple of my friends down to make them write a sentence so he could compare the handwriting, and threatened to suspend one of them (he's always in trouble for something) if he found out it was him. They were cleared but i'm fucking freaking out about it. If someone gets accused of doing it i'll have to man up and admit it, but i'm hoping it'll just blow over.

But i mean, come on... There are kids coming to school drunk and popping pills in class, i feel like he's way overreacting to a stupid prank.

Oh and today i realized i handed in a math homework assignment where i wrote "Fuck if i know" for an answer. I'm really on a roll this week.
 
Thread creator, no worries, youll get enough +K from people in this thread, including me, to cover how badly you screwed over whoever's paper that was.
 
pretty positive i wont get caught. i deliberately took the one that was really similar to my handwriting. and once he grades them, and i get it back, i'll get rid of it right away to avoid any evidence. if the person i took it from does ask him, and the teacher already handed it back, it'll be too late.

if the teacher hands back the HW your screwed, because whose ever that was will ask why

they didn't and eventually they will find out that you took it probably.

i concur...plus how old are you? you should be "scared" about your teacher finding out you didnt do your hw....
 
i wasnt necessarily 'scared', but i didnt want to have him be pissed that i didnt hand it in.

and to the post above..the teacher handed back most of the homeworks already, he just didnt grade the ones with no name. so he'll probably hand it back to me when not everyones around.
 
i've done this but, in one classes that I did it my teacher is a writeing freak and I go write my name on one of the nameless ones and hand it in after its been sitting there for all class and no one claimed it, and as soon as I hand it in the teacher picks it up and says.. this isn't your writing... yes it is... no... this is your writeing and takes out one of my other assignments and then lectures me for 5 minutes on how if I pull shit like that i'll loose her trust.
 
in my marketing class, we had this fairly good sized project due one morning. we were given about a week or so to do the whole project but i ended up playing too much gnarshmallow, so i hadnt done a single bit of the assignment. the day the project was due, the teacher had everyone upload their projects to the schools common folder, what do i do? i went on the common folder and to other peoples projects, copy and pasted thier work into a new doc, changed the font, and threw my name on it..

my grade, A

I feel bad for what I did the other day (similar to the OP's story). Basically I skipped an important lab for geology because it was opening day, and it was epic. Anyways, I stole someone else's lab and copied it completely then turned in both labs on separate sides of the drop box. I don't know why I feel bad for doing that, because their paper got turned it as well, I just felt like an ass for doing it.
 
If you know you did good on the homework, leave it on your teachers desk with no name on it so the kid who didn't get to turn it in gets yours. It's like trading because the kid was probably gone the day you took his. All good.
 
I used to steal this kids spanish hw everyday so i could copy it during class but instead of putting it back into the basket i would throw it away so the teacher wouldn't notice our answers matched.

They say cheaters never win but i passed spanish and he failed because he didn't turn in any homework all year.

it was prob the kid who just had his hamster die and he was so broken up about it he didn't even hear his name getting called so you ruined this kids day you ass
 
My biology teacher asked why I hadn't turned in my homework and I started to fake cry and made up some bullshit about my pets dying. She let me turn it in a week late with no points off.
 
Why dont you just tell the teacher it isnt yours? it seems pretty simple to me....if you feel bad then just dont it again and come clean. It's a just hw assignment, she wont be furious and it will get this thing off your chest.
 
First, wouldnt the teacher no your handwriting by now? And second if your so worried about it just go in and tell the teacher what you did, and shell have so much respect for you she'll give u credit anyways, or atleast not be pissed.....better than being caught and seeming like an ass
