Never did I question the quality of the skiing nor the quality of your movies, but the way you market your Brand/product/movie is another story...You do good movies, and I always said that, but you could get them outside quebec with a little bit of help from the outside!
i thought the video was sick shit, just like ^^ said, alot of the video went unnoticed. It was hard for me to ditsinguish between who was who and what they were doing.

i entirely agree with mikee that it is presented in a very bland way. fun song with trick trick trick lifestyle trick lifestyle.
what he was originally saying, was that it seems like theres some sort of ski-movie wizard or something on adobe premiere that you've managed to find that you insert your clips into and it edits it just like every other ski movie has ever been edited.
excellent skiing, no doubt. j'aime le quebec. and not to pick on this movie in particular. probably 95% of movies this year will be the same. i hated the ski porn trailer. i respect this coz it's low budget local, yes. but just try to embrace a different concept for your method of presentation (what mikee had meant by "originality")

I think I made my point clear...if you want to talk about ski movie originality, start another thread and let the discussion (not to say insults and shit talking) begin. I know I have not created a revolution with this teaser, BUT THIS WAS NOT THE GOAL !
the goal was to get most NSers and people get stoked on the movie, and I think that it did.
now it is not because my trailer didn't win "concept and originality of the year" that the entire movie will be the same. again, I'm not claiming I'm going to do something entirely different, yes probably you will still say "this is nothing new". ok...and then does the fact that there's nothing new (even if I doubt it will be empty of anything you've ever seen before) makes the movie automatically bad ?
well if so, stop going to the cinema and become a movie producer.

yeah dude you're movie's stokable. i'm stoked. it looks ill. i was just supporting mikee's statement and trying to clarify due to people getting really defensive and attacking him personally.
the only reason i would have said anything at all is for constructive criticism. i just think that with the quality of skiing adn the quality of shots that you most likely have, there's great potential. and no doubt the movie will be good, and probably worth buying if it's cheap which low budge films always are, i just think that you should think about new ideas and new ways to present your clips; henceforth making it the best video of the year as oppose to a good video.

i've watched it a couple dozen times in the past week and I really love the simple, yet elegant editing. Straightforward, hinting at the actual movie without giving too much away, with some beautiful cinematic shots. this teaser is only surpassed by photoplay so far this year, which had a significantly higer budget.
