This trailer was terrible.

Not only was the editing sub par to say the least, but the skiing itself was nothing out of the ordinary. The 270 on to the down rail was nice and all. I guess, though the one in photoplay is sicker, so you know.

Also, all the jump tricks are somewhat... lacking in style and originality.

But I dont know, its cool and all, just nothing to get that excited about in my opinion. Skiing is fun and so enjoy.

am I supposed to understand that if my trailer is not as good as the photoplay teaser...it is not good ?

if so...pretty much everything on NS sucks dicks.

yeah mikee your Chris Honeywell's segment was sooo much better...it killed the shit out of this teaser with all those retard park boxes and handrails burried under 12 feet of snow

do not bring christopher honeywell into this.

the trailer was pretty good. i'm eager to see your handrail footage.

looks pretty damn good. Cinematography is great, and my favorite part is there wasnt a single shot using a fish-eye lens. Good job

you're retarded or what?

JD Zicat: is filming with lvl1 too superunkow winner

Cedric Tremblay Fournier: His reputation on ns is established since a few year on Ns.com. There were atleast 1 shot from the videofest, a plehouse productions videoshoot...

Look

David Beaulieu: 2006 Superunknow finalist

Phil Casabon: he already went to the orage masters.

Dom Legaré:have you watched his part in Assault? that guy is so stylie.

Phil warren has one of the sickest corck 7 tail grab that I ever saw...

Playback was one of my favorite movie last year(pro movies included) Mr. Burroughs is a student in cegep, he doesn't work full time on a movie like the photoplay guys or whoever it is do...

SO please shut the fuck up and before talking shit like you do just think a little bit.

did u not see that blind side switch up? your so lame. one of my all time favorite trailer. great flow, loved the music, and the skiing is awsome.

Sometimes I want to ski like all the french guys out there, so I eat alot of poutine hoping it will give me extreme pretzel abilities but it never works.

Haha, wow, I was met with quite a lot of response.

First of all, I hope everyone udnerstand I fully respect everyone that has anythign to do with this trailer and there are no hard feelings from my side, I am just saying my opinion on the actual trailer, not the people involved or anythign else.

The trailer, to me, seemed very, "so what?"

I get it, you guys can slide handrails, though I saw nothing original or that I havn't seen before.

Also, I get it, you guys can do jumps, well. Though, once again nothign original or that I havn't seen before.

Also, the shooting and editing was far from spectacular.

I mean, it was solid and decent, and good I would even say, but not spectacular. Nothing I havn't seen before. And nothing that would impress me.

Now, talking about my artistic creations, I dont think you can judge me on something I shot 1 year ago with a 1 chip camera with no care about artisticness at all or anything period, and base my artistic abilities or visions on that.

I assure you, I am not claiming I can produce a perfect video, though I am claiming that I can produce a far more original and in my opinion, different and interesting one, than this trailer seemed to show.

^then do so and we'll talk shit after that dude.

I don't care people giving bad feedback...but please have some coherence in what you say. first off you say it's terrible, then you say it's soso, then you say it's ok...come on what do you really think ?

and you say the filming was not spectacular...tell me how I could improve please...give some CONSTRUCTIVE critism...and PLEASE do not compare us to Photoplay...if you really want to make a comparison...take the following facts in consideration:

1- T-3 media are based in the West (which had one of their most snowy winter ever, giving them access to sick backcountry), which is already a huuuge advantage. We're from the east, where the season was pretty bad, and you can confirm that since, as I see, you're from Ottawa.

2- T-3 has a lot of budget. Not as much as PBP or L1P or whatever, but they still have a budget (look at the end of the final version of the trailer, there are 12 sponsors listed, we have huumm...let's see...about ZERO) We made this movie with zero budget.

3- T-3 is associated with Poor Boyz Productions, and this leads me to think that it's another VERY SMALL...NOT WORTHY OF CONSIDERATION advantage as far as contacts for photo and videoshoots, access to events and so on and so on. We're associated with no one.

So, as I said, if you claim you can make something more interesting...then do it and talk shit afterwards.

Thank you

(C)Hucker, I apologize.

You are absolutely right about one thing, I called it terrible when I did not mean that. It was the wrong choice of words.

Really, I just thought it was sub par to what I would like to see in a ski movie, though it is certainly not terrible and has a lot going for it, like solid, consistent riding, editing, and shooting.

The thing is, I want to see something that really pushes boundaries, and I'm starting to get annoyed seeing people keep repeating the same old trends, and the same old formats in ski movies.

People need to start doing something different. That's all.

Your shooting, for example, is good, solid, consistent.

However, I want to see shooting take a whole new leap, I want to see every shot perfectly planned and everything linked like a holllywood movie. I want to see every shot wow me with just how amazing it is compositionally, in clarity, and in originality.

That's all, I just have high standards.

Also, I was not comparing you to photoplay, just that ONE trick, I apologize. I dont even like the photoplay trailer at all, for the same reasons, it just isn't anything new, or special.

Same old tricks, same old everything, just a little bigger.

Boring.

well in that case, get to work and let's see this more original video, dude.

as for your comments concerning the skiing itself, when you and your friends are leading the charge of the next generation of top level park skiers

( Zicat, Beaulieu, Casabon, Godbout, etc etc etc), then I think you can probably justify your statement.

In the meantime, considering you live in the same region and should be competing in the same events, explain to me how and why the riders in this video won EVERY major eastern Canadian contest this season ( mountain dew Avila, Cote Obscur, Spin). In my opinion, those results speak for themselves.

Anyway, criticism is a really good thing, and for sure, it should be voiced as much as possible in order to allow for evolution and growth in anybody's field of work. But to claim that you could do better, well that's just weak. It's as if you are sitting there saying " yeah I could do better, but I'm not ready to put my ass on the line to try."

First of all, I do believe I can do better, and believe I will. We will see I guess.

I am not claiming that I will for sure, I am just saying my honest opinion.

Also, thank you for your eloquent, kind, understand post, in all seriousness. I like it when people dont just yell at me.

Also, as far as the skiing itself, I honestly believe some of my friends are doing better (in some ways anyways) things. More original anyways.

Also, I don't feel the need to prove to you that I am better, my opinion is entirely valid if I am not better, and even if it wasn't, I dont care.

I am just saying my opinion. You people can take what you want.

Thanks again though. No hard feelings.

wow your speaking like your at a higher level then anyone else on this site with all you said your teaser need to be off the hook again they said it no budget there making it for the fun of it, shitty temp in the east this year

Well, if they are saying themselves that their movie is inferior, then I see no reason to take back anything I said.

Mikee and I spent the entire day editing, recording, and shooting for the trailer for our video. It will be up to you to judge whether or not it is more original.

Our sport lends itself pretty heavily to subjectivity, so when Mikee talks not thinking the tricks are unoriginal, there is no reason to get too out of sorts about it.

From my point of view, for instance, I thought that the trailer gave just what New Way specializes in: damn good Quebec-style park and urban riding. There is a ton of impressive stuff in the trailer that should not go unnoticed (Ced at Le Massif, switch up bs 270 out on urban, etc.). New Way delivered their own stule of film-making.

What we plan on putting out will be a different style, without a doubt, and as I said earlier, it is up to you to determine what style you are into.

i did, people like you dont help shit in this world. just sit on your couches and compain about whats going on in the world. you have no right to knock his trailer at all until you have done something better, instead of just saying you can
