New and Improved Parks: Seven New Features

We're

well aware of the itch you all have, so here is one gigantic dose of

itching powder guaranteed to make you want to be at Snow Trails right

now...it's time to release a T-Park update...the SoBe No-Fear Terrain

Park and the Salomon Terrain Park are ready and waiting for the snow to

fly and their new features to be placed. With seven new features being

thrown into the mix, tallying over twenty-three grand, accompanied by

innovative soft features, these parks are going to blow your mind! The

variety will give you endless hours of new lines to hit and tricks to

pull. As you figured, keeping our parks on the cutting edge is a top

priority! More to come on placement and specific features in next Blogs.

i would not rule out skiing this weekend. i've seen them do more with less in years past. if the weather does what it is supposed to, i think we stand a very good chance of skiing at snowtrails on saturday. i also wouldn't rule out a little opening day park. with new features and a rejuvenated attitude, i predict a rebirth for snowtrails terrain park this year. be scared.
 
yeah features on opening day would be way sik. But idk i am feeling like this year could be sick for the park. I think they are realizing that it's time to step it up.
 
Hmmm I might have to head up to snowtrails this year and check it out, I have never been but 7 new features is kinda legit.
But wait, did I read that wrong. Snowtrails hasent even made snow in their parks yet. Wow i kinda feel sorry for you guys, Im going on my 7th day of riding tomorrow. Everyday there has been at least 6 rails out.
If you guys dont open this weekend I would come to Perfects. Park is prime and is only going to get better by the weekend. Actually i might come down to Perfects this weekend regardless, if you want a sick park that is.
 
after looking at the latest weather forecast, i don't see how we won't be open saturday. i'd assume it'll be a noontime opening to give them a little extra time to push snow. and you guys had better believe that i'll be pulling every string i can get my hands on to have some sort of a park going for the opening day.
 
^^ shit all i do is work in ski check but i will help if you need it.. im tryin to have features up on opening day!! but does anyone kno these new features i kno that one is a 30 foot flat down rail, a 30 foot flat rail and they are gonna have a quarter pipe!! but Sshhhh... cant tell anyone i told you lol
 
i just got home from the trails [had to pick up my skis] but i talked to cy [will never be able to spell his name] and he said at the earliest, they will open the 10th [next wednesday for those of you to lazy to look at a calender] and if they dont open on wednesday, friday [12th] for sure. most likely a 4 o'clock opening. also, the guns were on and it was snowin from the sky, so i think theyre running the guns day and night now.

but that's all the scoop i have.

i am still maintaining hope for this weekend. hopefully they just don't realize how much now they have and announce that they're opening saturday at noon.
 
^ I am right there with you man, I drove down yesterday to check a set of ski's out and it looked awsome to see some snow on the hill. I am bored as hell so it will be nice to see a weekend opening.

we r not opening this weekend due to lack or snow and temps (ohio sucks)

there will be a park set up for opening day (not thanks to mark it was already talked about before this thread)

$24,000 would have been the cost IF we bought them from a company Northern Rails.

hahahahaha. ya dude. fuck mark. i mean, why not call each other out on a message board in the pre-season? that'll get people OHHHHHHH so stoked for the season!
 
p.s. if we're callin shit out, let's hope the box-top down flat down is put together a little bit better than that wavy contraption you tried to get everyone excited for last season
 
ya that thing was a death trap! just wait and see!!! you will be very very amazed the bend is at 11ft so theres 19ft left!!! its so sweeet looking!
 
I can't say for sure, but it has been talked about quite a bit so there is a possibility. However I think they probably are opening earlier than they had originally planned, so if they don't have anything set up by this weekend I would assume more than likely that is the case. I would say during the week or by next weekend if not this weekend if they are going to setup a preseason park (just my opinion).
 
Dont get me wrong it would be cool to have a park today to ride, but its probably gonna be packed today and all the gapers will invade the park in full force. I dunno either way im just pumped to put some runs in. I will be down there today around 4.30 till w/e.
 
sounds sick. id love to have the snowtrails of 2-3 years ago back. BIG shit in a tiny park
 
went today for a couple hours... the 2 runs they had open were in good shape it was nice to get back out there.... no park as of yet but they were blowing snow the whole time so i'd guess by next weekend they should have a decent lay out over in the park
 
Looked like alpine will be open sometime this week, and they were blowing snow the last two days where that Terrainasaurus was at so who knows we night get some sort of park by the end of the week.
 
in the Tranosourus park there is a LIGIT 10 foot table that you can take up to 20 feet. and an assortment of real small boxes but are still fun and also the "hummer" rail set up about a foot out of the ground. small but still fun. the jump is ligit for anyone wanting to learn new tricks. the jump is flipable
 
my finals are done so i'll probably be out there in the rain today if anything is still open. that would be fun to flip around.

i'll be back out there thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, monday... wow i need to get a life. ha
